Congratulations to the players and coaches for a job well done!

  • I wanted a thread that merely thanks the players and coaches for getting it done today on the field and sending the Vols home with their tails tucked between their legs. The players played their hearts out and left it all on the field. The coaches put together a great game plan and had the young men ready to battle. So many heroes to acknowledge, but bottom line it was a team effort. So thank you seniors, team, and coaches for a special day to be a Wildcat Football Fan.

Please do not start posting complaints. Lets enjoy this win and hopefully start a new chapter in UK football. We have our coach for next year, so lets get behind this team and support these young men and program and let the results of next year determine everything else.

  • I agree. I have been very critical this year but yesterday was great especially in the face of major difficulties. You could tell that everyone was focused more than I have seen in years. Sanders deserves props in making something out of a nightmare situation at QB and the players executed the plan. The effort was outstanding on both side of the ball. Great game. Great day. Thanks Cats.

  • Can't say enough about BOTH coordinators.

SANDERS- You could argue that Sanders called the best game of his time here at KY considering what he had to work with. Walk ins, true freshman, and a WR at QB.

MINTER- One of the things I noticed yesterday and was most impressed with was our aggression. That 4th quarter we could have very easily dropped back into prevent or the dreaded "play not to lose" but not yesterday. That D made a very clear statement at the end of that game...
"We are coming after you and hittin anything we see in ugly ass orange" and that's exactly what they did.

Now, If we can only get consistency from both of those guys. Im still not sure whether or not change is needed among the staff (Not Joker) but we def saw yesterday what both of these coordinators can do.

  • So true... let's allow yesterdays "ending" to be a new "beginning". GO CATS!

Amen, dude. I'd love to hear reports of the 'Cats taking people to the woodshed this winter/spring/offseason.

    Keep Calm & Stoops On..

Isn't that what we heard this past spring and summer, about how good practice was going?

Who's to say they weren't practicing well?
I mean damn alrwadt let it go!

Don't forget that during spring practice the offensive lone was healthy, Collins (who IMO would have been a great playmaker this year) was healthy, and some players had not transfered

Do you guys realize how ridiculous your posts read? Joker purposley told everyone hoe great the team was practicing knowing they weren't? MB wants the football program to fail? Of better yet, doesn't care about our success? Just sounds foolish. Sadly, I don't think some of you Cam help yourselves ...its your only outlet as you await your beloved hoops season (BTW I love basketball, but just nothing near football) by ripping and tearing down the program and those fans who choose to be optimistic and enthusiastic about just seeing football in general. But, then again I forgot its us fans who are the problem...not this foolish portion of the fanbase each and every single damn year.
several years ago it was FARRR BROOKS! But oddly enough everyone (not to mention have all followed UK football for 30 years and have had season tickets since 1934) then it was Hartline sucks! And now its FARRR Joker!
With all sorts of idiocy in between. Just giving fair warming ...most are completely fed up with it. Your beloved hoops are here so back off of our football program. Stop pretending to be football first fans.
