chris, i am back on cats pause. it has been a while but at this point who are we most likely to get to finish the 13 class in basketball? I'm hearing johnson is a lock pretty much. I'm also hearing gordon loves uk and then wiggins is favoring fsu, so due to that we are making up ground on randle. what are your thoughts? thanks
Keep Calm & Stoops On..
lol I'm just very confused at this point except for dakari
Let it play out. Cal will get who he wants.
Your right to be confident in getting Dakari Johnson and if WCS declares then he will be a Cat w/o a doubt. Randle did slip a little in his feelings about coming to UK but IMO he has come back into the Cal fold due to some of the things he has said in his blogs and interviews over the past couple of weeks. Gordon likes KY but I havent heard too much about his feelings about his recruitment lately so IMO he is up in the air. Now Wiggins, and I think this will be disagreed with by many UK fans but I am of the opinion that its 60-40 with FSU in the lead. Johnson is the most likely to be a Cat and if he does commit it wont affect who else may choose UK unlike the other 3 if 1 of them pops for KY 1st then it would probably keep the others from coming except Johnson of course. Look for Johnson to commit right after WCS declares, if he does declare.

I'm probably wrong and this is just an opinion but I believe Johnson comes even if WCS comes back.
I dont think your wrong at all, Johnson could very much still be a Cat even if WCS doesnt declare but my point was that if WCS does declare then Johnson is pretty much a lock and I think Johnson will wait to see if WCS goes pro before he commits, but thats just a guess and nothing to back it up with except what his mom said in an interview.
Call me crazy but I don't think Noel or WCS should be lottery picks next year.
Next years draft is going to be a lean one and although I think Noel will be a lottery pick WCS could go late teens early 20s, but some are thinking he may return but would still draw a pretty good paycheck going where I think he will so I dont know if I would pass up that much $. Cal will give him the right advice and it will be up to WCS to take it or not.
Same question each of the last three years. Do they stay to get more experience and go up in the draft or go for the $$$. No way to predict it. Just wait and see ow it plays out.
True. And we still have half a season plus to go this year. These guys still have time to improve their stocks drastically. If the season ended today and I were Cal, I would probably have to recommend that everyone besides maybe Noel come back. Good thing I'm not Cal
Heres a link that may answer the question of whether we get Gordon or not, but just remember that this is a source that hasnt been revealed so take it with a grain of salt.
The top high school basketball player on the West Coast is planning to stay out West for college. Archbishop Mitty (CA) hotshot Aaron Gordon will play h
