Chris Low breaks down UK's chances this season on ESPN.com. His best case is 7-5, worst case is 4-8.
Seems to be right in line with most reasonable people around here.
Pretty surprised he pegged UK at 7-5 for best case. Most are pretty down on UK's ability to win games this year.
"Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm." ~ Emerson
Thought that was a pretty fair assessment from Chris Low.
He's always fair and pretty unbiased.
That's in line with what I think too. Don't think there is a great chance of them getting to 7-5, but it's always possible if things fall correctly. I think it's more likely they are 5-7 or 6-6.
I would love to see 7-5, but i believe that is very optimistic. A year like that would give Joker and staff job security and the team a positive attitude. With the kind of progress we are making in recruiting it could be a spring board to becoming the program we all want. But as I have said before to get to 7-5 or even 6-6 we must win September 2. In my mind that is the most important game for this program in years.
Low does his homework where others don't.
I don't think anyone has any idea what this year holds, but that is a pretty safe play on his part.
It seems to have disappeared. The important part anyway. Title is still there.
Yeah its called best case scenario so of course its optimistic. Most likely we won't get there. I'm gonna say probably 5 or 6 wins.
7-5 and this season will be an overwhelming success given the youth on the team. I fear though that we could end up with just 3 wins depending on how the tide turns. All in all it's a pretty fair assessment.
