Good stuff from CoachCal.com:
Coach Cal has an update on practices as he begins to tinker and experiment with different lineups.
More on tinkering with the lineup and scrimmage/practice notes:
In a message to the Big Blue Nation on Sunday, John Calipari told fans he has started to tinker with lineups for the first time in an extended scrimmage setting. The mad scientist was so intrigued by the different looks that he experimented again Monday.
That was really exciting to imagine the players doing what was described. Someone had a thread that asked about what people wanted to see out of the ex. game on thurs. and 1 of the things I said was the look on the Northwood players face when he was going to the hoop and saw WCS and Noel standing there waiting for him. By the way Chris, do you think that it would be possible that Cal starts Goodwin and Mays in the back court and brings Harrow off the bench?

Cal mentioned a "catch-up" team for when they find themselves behind. He mentioned having having Poythress at the four in that lineup but it came right on the heals of talking about how dynamic Goodwin and Mays in the back court together was. Was he suggesting that those two would be in the back court for that team? If so, does that mean he sees Hood as a better option for a scoring lineup like that than having Harrow in the back court?
