@UKCoachCalipari While sitting here, this thought came to mind. "If the mailman reacted to every barking dog, he would never get the mail delivered."
Thought that was clever.
Those of us who refuse to give away our birth right (UK's basketball tradition) may be likened to barking dogs. Just remember that when Cal is gone, our program, our tradition will still remain. Cal is the first Coach since Rupp to blatantly assume he's bigger than the program. Difference is that there was no tradition before Rupp--80 years ago.
Very clever indeed... I love Cal's wit. He is great at keeping BBN "chilled". (most of us anyway)
Like I told a guy at work earlier... Whatever the rumor may be, I will worry about it when Coach Cal worries about it.
Like I said... "Most" of us

Boy your on a roll with idiotic posts.
That response is the kinda thing Cal does that endears him to most of BBN. He gets it, he knows you can't fight a tide of haters by responding to each, but you can smack everyone at the same time and smile while you're doing it.
And please with the "tradition" talk, Kentucky's biggest tradition is winning, winning often, and winning championships, Cal is holding UK up just fine in that regard.
"Kentucky Football needs to be and will be a championship contender in the SEC."~Mitch Barnhart 11/4/12
No. Wrong. He is referring to the media and NCAA as the barking dogs. Not the fans. Wow! You are waaaaaay off base!

How do you know that?
Ummm. Are you serious?
If you don't understand that cal is clearly talking about thamel and the media then I feel sorry for you.
This thread reminds me of what happens when I don't take my meds. I'm glad I took mine today.
I think it's clearly obvious he was talking about the haters and not the UK fans.
Some UK fans are the haters. That's my point.
Then those select few fans would be part of who he is talking too. Not the general fanbase as a whole though. It's the haters in the media, select few in the fanbase, and even oppossing coaches.
Think Cal does a masterful job handling both the media and the fans. Could have a long career as a politician if he wanted to.
