I for the life me cannot understand why people insist on telling people what is wrong with their site. Seems like it happens on everyone of them.
This site runs a certain way others are different. Choose the one you like and prefer and join it or discuss on it or whatever you want to do. But stop filling thread with complaining about what's wrong with the site.
Chris, noon tomorrow cannot get here soon enough
Just like I, for the life of me, can't understand why a site would not want member feedback... Particularly feedback that includes constructive suggestions.
It is ironic that almost every similar site has a minority of people who complain about information being restricted to those that opt to pay for it. I belong to 3 sites........why? because each premium site has different information because each of the primary contributors have different "in the know" contacts. Chris and Josh provide a unique and valuable insight into what is happening and I choose to pay for it. I find it valuable and believe in free enterprise, and choose to get what I pay for. If someone doesn't want to get early and valuable information he or she doesn't have to pay for premium information and can opt to wait until the information is readily available everywhere.......that is your choice. So quit btchin about good business practices and put up or shut up.
With all due respect to Mr. Global Management for a Fortune 500 automotive company, I don't come to your place of business and tell you how to do your job.
The CEO of 247Sports (my boss) created Rivals and sold it to Yahoo! for $98 million so once again, excuse me if I listen to him and not to you.
You may lack some basic reading comprehension skills...
The argument is not "give me info for free." The question is if the current structure is best for all users as "free" threads are routinely highjacked with a premium stamp? I have no issue not knowing everything a premium member knows. I do, on the other hand, fail to understand the benefit of changes in thread status mid-stream. Ther are currently two threads on Wiggins/Cal meeting. Both of them hijacked. My thought is either leave the threads alone or link the participants to another premium thread. Nowhere did anyone ask for free info. Good diatribe, though, regardless.
Ah.... Emotion. Ha ha
I actually hope you would tell me your thoughts if you had an experience to share, but alas. Clearly, you're not engaged in any sort of two way conversation with your management to explore opportunities. Given your emotional intelligence, I don't blame him. I think I prefer keeping you at the level of talking to teenagers all day being fed lines they are told to tell you, too.
No need to ban... I'll leave. I could go over to Maggard's site and actually get a BETTER response from a personal standpoint and know the info wasnt just made up for fluff.
Watching the steam roll out of your ears right now. Please don't beat your dog over this, Ike Turner. No offense, of course.

The fact that you refer to her as "the wife" and would have to answer to her for spending .30 cents a day for a membership says a lot about you IMO. Especially for global management of a Fortune 500 company.
If you don't like it, leave. Simple as that IMO.
I'm not sure how it does that. Please elaborate.... That she picks on me for tossing money to people who call kids all day?
If you take a step back, which I am willing to do, you'll realize how all of this might look silly to a wife who dislikes sports in general. I'd rather spend money feeding a music habit than this.
Well I'm no global manager of a Fortune 500 automotive company but I'm getting by.
Geez your a tool.
Damn, I'd be calling my wife something a lot worse than "the wife" if she noticed $10 a month, much less busted my balls about it.... But, that's part of living check to check, errrrrr.. I mean, wait, you're rich, you're global management Fortune 500 guy. Wait a minute..... I'm confused! Oh well... I wouldn't be rude to the guys that work hard on this site, regardless of your opinions. I would leave after saying something like that, or apologize. Just me though.
So refined for a Tacos McGee.
Gotta love our society. People want something for nothing....
Ps: the auto industry isn't the model for how to run a business.
It's "you're" a tool, Kreskin.
I used to tell my maintenance guy at a business I owned that he was "Director of Custodial Operations", and we were a very large corporation.... So, it's nice to make people feel important sometimes, just sayin
Thought you were leaving?
I hope not. I was hoping we could hire him to run the site. Hell, the network. Clearly qualified as the global manager of a Fortune 500 automotive company.
If its ford then he runs a fortune 100 company.
Catspause and Catsill have both lost some of their luster when so many feel they have to post every post from anyone and everyone's twitter account. Is their really any "inside information" anymore?
To be honest, the Joker reign and the way posters were treated by the "friends of joker and the joker haters" did a lot of harm to both sites.
Just my opinion.
The meanest dog in Taiwan.
You know how I can tell you're not a member here?
Damn! Fish comin' outta his shell !
Keep Calm & Stoops On..
I have no problem with reading people's feedback to make the site better. But to read the same post over and over and over and over and over gets a little annoying.
If you want to give member feedback email the company. Keep it out of discussions of other topics. I would assume at a Fortune 500 company has a complaint department.
In beginning to understand why a big chunk of the auto industry needed a government bailout... Tacosmcgee
You've reached TacosMcGee. I can't come to the site right now because I've been banned for 7 years. If you'd like to leave a message ...
