Is anyone else concerned that Wiggins might not be a good fit for UK? He is a phenomenal talent and I would love for him to come here.
But, if he hates the spotlight as much as it appears, I'm not sure UK is the place for him.
He's gonna be in the spotlight wherever he goes.
Keep Calm & Stoops On..
I've kind of thought the same thing, especially the more I've read the last couple of days. But, I'll let Cal take care of that when AW gets here.
It'l be magnified many times here more than anywhere else.
Oddly enough, here is where he could possibly be the most shielded. If the whole class does well and he fits in well, he could skate by and people might not even know he was around.
Thats kinda true. Odd that a kid such as he would hate the spotlight. I don't ever see him becoming a Kobe or Lebron type of transcendent player if he doesn't learn to accept and embrace the spotlight.
I started thinking last night and I don't think it will be FSU. To tell you the truth I haven't though much about Wiggins. Don't really care. We're gonna be stacked regardless. But if you're only gonna play a year of basketball you don't go to a program where you are gonna be asked to carry to much weight. You just don't do it. You might try to be the savior of a program if you play on playing 3-4 years but not in a one and done situation. Thats why I think it will be UK or KU. I say KU because I think maybe UK's lineup might be just too loaded for him. KU might be just about right. But I think it will be one of those two. Just a guess.
