Scored 138 points in ONE game. Shot 52-108 27-71 threes and 7-10 at the line in 35 minutes of action! Insane!
Clever stuff here.
Man even at a D-III schooor every minute he played(35)l thats just mind blowing. When the guys on ESPN said that I thought they were kidding. I just cant imagine how you can score that many points by yourself, thats 3.94 POINTS per minute for every minute he played which was 35 total. WOW

Call me crazy but I have no respect for this. 108 shots and 71 3-point attempts is not basketball.
More impressive to me is the guy that went 34 of 44 and scored 70 for the other team.
I do and I do not. One, who wants to see one guy take all of the shots? It takes away the surprise of the game. Two, eventually all of the defenders are going to key off on him which makes it tougher to score.
Also of note: 0 assists.
And anyone who has seen Grinnell play basketball, it's anything but conventional. More or less sacrifice defense and give up layups for fastbreaks on the other end.
Full court press and shoot it when it touches your finger tips.
I noticed the 0 assists as well. I wasn't surprised but for someone to touch the ball as many times as he did and not pass the ball is embarrassing.
Someone else agrees.
Yeah, he shot shot like 10000 gazillion shot. Different reason for me, i hate this selfish shit.
I thought basketball is team sports? This is example of bad coaching.
This is exact opposite of our last year's NT team. I love that team so much fun and involvement of the WHOLE team. This is example of selfish basketball by shitty player.
I still have to say A.Davis's Vandy performance is once in a decade performance.
10/11 FG, 28 points, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks.
What was amazing was at the end of the game, when game was close he just made all these buckets. he had 0 alley ops that game. He had baseline jumper, top of the key jumper, putback dunks, post plays, and etc. etc.
Forget the points, it's amazing the guy got off 108 shots. You would figured the other team would double or triple team him at some point.
The shooting performance of the other guy is more impressive.
Probably going to end up being a bigger backlash more than anything stemming from this.
Not sure you can be proud of the fact that you jacked up 108 shots in a game, even if you scored 138.
LOL, there is a bad backlash.
Just watching SVP show, and both side just said...
"This seems dirty to me. Why is the coach or the player proud of this."
"What's the message, are we sending?"
How about the kid on the other team going for 70 on 34-44. Now THAT'S impressive.
