I dont think Cal will start WCS when he is back 100% because the team seems to have been playing smoother and at a quicker pace since he has been out. I think he will be able to contribute much more to this team coming off the bench. Im not saying Cal will never play them at the same time b/c he will but I just think this is a better team with the 3 guard lineup rather than with the twin towers look. WCS will be a great 6th or 7th man on this team and can still play a good number of minutes. Im not saying this b.c I think he isnt a good player just b/c the game seems to flow more smoothly when thwere is only 1 bigman. So what do you guys think about WCS and whether Cal will return him to the starting lineup?
honestly no one knows what Cal will do, but he will probably will stick with this starting line up until there is a drop off, Even if WCS is back healthy. If i had to guess WCS will be coming off the bench because of how good Alex is playing
He will likely have some swelling and discomfort off/on as he tries to return from the surgery. This may definitely play a factor.
Don't see whose minutes he takes over the current three bigs. Wiltjer may not be the best player, but he's the glue now - a point SF.
I think the only reason CAL went that way with the two bigs starting was because Alex and Kyle were not producing. Now that both are doing much better, I would say CAL will revert to what he thought would work early in the season, with this same lineup.
Think we seen last night that if Noel goes out we need someone to sub in for him. They made their run when Noel's 4th foul came, so my opinion is let WCS back up the 4 and 5 position. He will still get plenty of playing time.
It's going to depend on match ups. If UK can defend well enough with kw on the floor he starts. There are goin to be teams where UK can't matchup on the perimeter And kw comes off the bench. If he Continues to improve defensively kw stays on the floor and wcs spells Noel and poy.
Well said bish-bait. I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment.
I think I "saw" last night.
We knew what he meant.... No need to call a brother out.
Pet peeve ;). Definitely on an old post on the Paddock
