This team had great individual talent but lacked the kind of skills that win games as a team. The weaknesses of perimeter defense, depth, point guArd play and three point shooting were all able to be exploited to counter the strengths. If you added the smart kid from osu who almost chose UK to run the show and Muhammad to help lock down the Perimeter it's a one or two seed team. If Teague and lamb came back same thing. Some of the guys didn't turn out to fill the roles the way they were supposed to. Look on the bright side. It may turn into UK having the greatest team in history next year. Well worth one down year I would say.
Agree to disagree. Miller, Lamb and even Jones to an extent were complimentary players. There is a reason that Davis and MKG went 1 and 2 in the draft and that is because they led that team.
I could be blind, but I didn't really see anyone attack you opinion. They just disagreed with it. I do agree with you that experience is helpful in college basketball, especially in the past, but I disagree that championships can't be won with young talent. The foundation was already laid with three freshman, two sophomores, and only UNO senior leading the way. That's five young ones and only one old man river.
More than old vs. young players. I'd rather have tough vs soft(mentally and physically) players regardless of age.
Dude ur message is a day late and a dollar short...we have moved on....let it go young grasshopper.
