Can we get an update? Apparently several recruits who UK has offered will be on campus this weekend, and I would just like to know who, thanks.
So far I know Boaz Joseph and one of the Alexander twins (possibly both?).

That's the list that's supposed to be on campus this weekend. Deangelo Yancey is supposed to be visiting next week sometime.
I REALLY like Yancey. I usually stay pretty grounded when it comes to highlight videos but this kid looks like a beast in the making. I like that we are gonna get the last shot at him as well.
May not be a 4 or 5* recruit but i think he would be a big time get...imo
Agree but it's going to be hard to beat out Ole Miss since they've been on him so much longer.
That said there's more known about our program by far right now than there is with Ole Miss at this point.
Come on staff. If we really have one of the top 5 CB's in the country on campus with a lot of additional high level players with no updates this is VERY disappointing. Is everybody at Peach Jam?
The longer relationship for sure plays a big role more times than not but im not sure it will in this case.
Seems as if Yancey put UK in his final two rather quickly after receiving the attention from Joker and Co.
I have a good feeling about our chances and a GREAT feeling about Yancey as a player.

Thanks. Would love to see a commit or two (or three) out of that bunch. Who is Shamar Johnson?
jesus some of guys need to quite your bit**in',
like it or leave it, this site that is
i would really hate to see some your guys wives, i cannot imagine how much they nag if you are this high maintenance.
great job staff, keep it up, and tune out the noise.
UL OLine soft verbal. We offered him in the last couple of weeks and he's gotten really high on us.
6'6 270 lb OT from Pensacola.
Hell yeah.. gotta love big recruiting weekends. Lets hope some of them pull the trigger. (I'm looking at you, Boaz and the Alexander twins!)
Keep Calm & Stoops On..
Who's bitching guy? I asked for an update on who all is exactly on campus, and now I'm bitching? I am a little put off that BBK (which is a free site) has info. on what could turn out to be one of the biggest weekends recruiting wise before this site, but it is what it is and when one of the two hardest workers on this site leaves, then it's to be expected I guess. Either way, I'm seeking information, not bitching. You must be a basketball guy.
Yeah that would be my two picks as well, although I admit I don't know much about Shamar.
No one is covering this visit for MacKensie or MacKenro because no one knew they were making it. Until that tweet from the assistant coach came out it wasn't a sure thing that Mackenro was going to be here but he decided to make the trip after MacKensie was done with Bama apparently and they're both on campus.
Here's the update they did with Joseph about his visit this weekend. And also the update that was just written on Corey Cooper just two days ago. Shamar had told the UL site he was a soft commit and would be taking other visits as of 4 days ago but again this was a last minute visit.
Also with the staff around here short handed we may have to wait a little bit for updates. Jeff just left so let's be patient our main recruiting writer at this stage is at Peach Jam right now so hard for him to do football updates.
UK has been building a solid relationship with Florida defensive back Boaz Joseph, who says he plans to make an unofficial visit to Lexington later this month.
Kentucky will have a 3-star wide receiver on campus this weekend after a ringing endorsement from a familiar face.
i would say Boaz is the most likely, would be a great pickup. Shamar would not be bad either, b/c his commitment would be a twofer.
Sounds about right man. I'm you tubing the twins and Joseph. Gotta get some kind of opinion on 'em.
I like Devin and Aaron because they get a lot of good information out there and do a lot of leg work but the only thing they got to confirm Mackenro and Mackensie was that tweet and then they made some calls. As far as I know the only person that's talked to the Alexanders at this stage is Steve Jones and they were pretty vague with him.
I also don't think the griping was necessarily aimed at you more at the other post.
Yeah, it's understandable. Chris can't do everything himself.
Simmer down Moss...lol
I don't think he was talking to you but the other poster who was kinda calling pit the staff and made the
comment about the Peach Jam.
I tend to agree with him tho. The staff is doing all they can right now. Although, i also agree with your request which was pretty reasonable (yeah yeah im flip floppin lol) about an update regarding this weekends visits.
I do think some need to keep im mind that TCP just lost Jeff as well. I love me some Fish but the next few weeks will determine my future as a member here. TCP was just dealt a huge loss especially considering the timing heading into fall camps so it will be very interesting to see how TCP "reloads" so to speak.
But until we do know, we should cut the staff (TCP) some slack. Lets not get into another thread like last night where someone demanded more coverage of UK's media day when May had already posted SIX articles...not to mention the clown was a day late lol.
Again, that's not aimed at you Moss. You already know i think your one of the better posters this sitem has left.
I agree that generally the staff is on top of things. This is first time I have ever complained about coverage, but if the highest rated recruit since Tim Couch is potentially on campus we should probably at least confirm or deny his presence. The Alexander kid has offers from EVERY school in the SEC plus FSU, OSU, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, the list goes on. He also has us in his Top 5 right now.
As I said, generally the staff does a great job, but if this kind of kid makes it to campus without as much as a peep from the kid, his coach, his parents, etc. it is a huge swing and miss. It stinks that they are short staffed. Getting a kid like this to campus is really big.

Hold on... JDrum is gone? When did this happen? I thought he was on vacation? How did I miss that?
It's pinned in a thread at the top of the board.
Wow.. I didn't know JDrum had left. I'll miss him and his info. Hope we can get a replacement that's actually worth a damn.
It's a VIP thread that all of us cheapskates can't read...
I checked it earlier.. not all of the posts are VIP, just the ones worth anything,
Ole Miss already has 5 WR commits. And they added another commit today from a WR/S. I think that should help our chances with Yancey.

Ask anyone that covers recruiting on a national level and they will tell you that Alexander is unbelievably tough to track down and when you do track him down, hard to get any info out of him.
Obviously, I'm at Peach Jam right now and that is my main focus. I can't call football recruits while I'm at the biggest basketball event of the year.
Alexander has been popping up on campuses around the country. Very hard to get a handle on.
