Down to FSU and UNC according to this article...
Not even remotely.
I know there will be a lot of false info circulating the closer we get to D day. However, I think this kid is hard to read.
I don't think there is ANY truth to this. Barring a huge surprise, Wiggins is going to Kentucky.

That's one of the dumbest articles ever. Even UNC and FSU fans are attacking the author for writing an article with no information whatsoever.
Tomorrow I'm going to start a post on these boards that says:
Wiggins to Florida Gulf Coast?!
Apparently if you add the question mark to the end, you can say whatever you want in the subject line
Welcome the new generation of domination.
Would like to hear Chris chime in on this. Sounds bogus to me.
Chris, where you at mang lol
for what it's worth, i've been looking at UNC and KU boards and they both believe Wiggins is a done deal to UK.
Not on the UNC rivals board.
I checked the Fsu board, didn't see anything.
The dude acknowledges it is a rumor... He even put a question mark at the end.
Not here to troll or flame at all, but its been said for some time by people on the FSU board that UNC has been the biggest threat for a while now. Many have said UNC has replaced Kentucky putting you guys 3rd. Who knows though?... Heck, y'all don't need him anyways. Let us have some fun in Tally for a year haha
I think that with Dominique Hawkins announcing that he's going to announce his decision on Wednesday bodes very well for the rumor/news that Wiggins has already let all of the coaches at each of the schools know that he's going to Kentucky, or at least has let Kentucky know that he's coming. It's been pretty clear that Hawkins has been waiting on Kentucky (which means waiting on Wiggins' decision). So for him to be announcing before Wiggins can only mean one thing, in my opinion. To me that says Wiggins let Cal know he's coming, so Cal let Hawkins know, and now Hawkins is ready to commit to his 2nd choice. If that's what has happened, the plan is probably for Wiggins to announce at the Jordan Brands Classic where all of the national media will be present.
I guess there's always the possibility that the Hawkins announcement date means Wiggins has let Calipari know that he's not coming to UK, and Hawkins has been notified. I find this scenario to be much less likely. If Hawkins announces for Kentucky then I'll be concerned about Wiggins.
Then again, maybe Hawkins has agreed to walk-on for one season and go on scholarship the next year. I guess that's a possibility too.

Also, I just can't see him choosing North Carolina. They are in the same conference as Florida State. If he's not going to choose his parents Alma mater then I don't see him choosing their conference opponent. If he's not going to go play with his best friend at FSU, why would he go play at UNC to play against his best friend?
Kentucky is the answer and always was I think. Going to UK in the SEC doesn't directly hurt FSU or his best friend.
The other thing that says a lot to me is that since Wiggins made his official visits to UK, KU and UNC a month ago, only John Calipari has been to visit him since then (at least that's what it says on the 24/7 Timeline).
With the way everything has happened, I'll be pretty surprised if Wiggins doesn't choose UK.
Dude needs to make a decision....im tired of waiting and speculating.....hurry up Andrew.
Hawkins announcing for UK has nothing to do with Wiggins coming or not
I really do not think this story has any factual based evidence behind it. If you all remember Randle was rumored to be going to Kansas the last week before he announced. Then well...he ended at UK. Everyone that wants recruiting hits are going to try and pass along information without actual knowledge.
That being said I do not know where this kid will end up. My gut is telling me he will not be at UK because with all this shaking down it greatly reminds me of Shabazz and how that recruitment went. I could be wrong but Cal and UK thought Bazz was coming then he goes to UCLA. Also, note that Cal himself said that he recruited him the hardest and was let down when UK did not land him. I see Cal putting forth a lot of effort with Wiggins and still have not heard anything good about Wiggins coming to UK.
Pretty much everything you said on your last paragraph Is factually incorrect.
Yeah, but the difference between Wiggins recruitment and Shabazz's is that Chris here was saying he was hearing UCLA. As we both know that's not the case with Wiggins.
Correct. Kentucky has room for both.
Wiggins and Hawkins aren't tied to each other at all. Hawkins was tied to the decisions of UK's freshmen from last season.
I guess we will see. That is my opinion and yes Cal said that and he is working just as hard with Wiggins. Why else would he go to see him right before the McD's game? To say what I wrote was incorrect is in fact incorrect. You can disagree but I just voiced my opinion that is all.
You said "I could be wrong but Cal and UK thought Bazz was coming then he goes to UCLA"
That is not true. Pretty much everybody was saying Bazz was going to UCLA. That's factually incorrect.
You said, "note that Cal himself said that he recruited him the hardest and was let down when UK did not land him"
I never read or saw that. THe only thing I heard Cal say was about recruiting after last year's class was "UK isn't for everybody. We don't promise a # of shots"
Again, Cal never addressed the Bazz recruitment (unless you talked to cal himself about it). So your second statement was factually incorrect.
Sorry but both of the points you were harping on were said by Cal. I cannot recall the interview where he said it but he was asked who was the one recruit that you wanted the most and never got and he said Bazz, he said he thought he was coming and he never worked harder for a recruit to date and did not get him.
Sometimes Cal tells little white lies to help his cause. He tells people what they want to hear. Now I remember reading that interview you read, Mook, but my first thought coming out of that was that Cal knew a long time ago that Shabazz Muhammed wasn't coming to UK. The guy is brilliant. He knows everything going on with his program.
Exactly! The way I remember it was by the time the late signing period rolled around the consensus among most reporters was Shabazz would sign with UCLA. Kentucky was considered a long shot, and any speculation about him coming to Kentucky was just wishful thinking by some fans. Calipari did recruit him hard early on and might have felt good about him before the early signing period in November, but all of that had changed by the time the late period rolled around. I don't remember hearing anywhere that Calipari or anyone at UK was expecting to get Shabazz leading up to his announcement.
What I do remember hearing was that Shabazz was probably going to UCLA because it was an Adidas school. That Adidas had been sponsoring his "Dream Vision" AAU team for a few years, and his tennis-playing sister had an Adidas contract even though she wasn't ranked in the Top 400 in the world. So basically Adidas had him on their payroll (indirectly) for years, and I'm sure he will sign a shoe contract with them very soon after announcing he's going pro.
