There is no way he redshirts, even if Clemons is helathy. Just read an article on Larry Vaughts site that indicated the staff is hopeful about Clemons playing, but hasn't ruled out rshirting him. Still, if Mobely's mesurables are acurate (I'm assuming they are coming from Joker) He's coming into college bigger than Lattimore. In fact, he's 2 lbs heavier than Lattimore is listed now! At that height and weight, he's gonna be awful hard to take down if he gets up to full speed quickly. I can't wait to see a Clemons/Mobely 1-2 punch, and even better yet, add Taylor to that combo at some point.
Barring injury Mobley will play...
... and play well.
RV have you heard who's sticking out to the staff over tue summer?
Joker referenced a handful of players at the QB club function in Louisville. I believe that story to be here somewhere.
The worst kept secret around is Clemons' knee recovery, or lack thereof. I sincerely hope the kid doesn't step foot on the field until he is 100%, and he's not close to that according to many. Redshirt the kid.
It makes you wonder if Clemons knee was worse than advertised. A meniscus repair should not take the entire winter, spring than summer to recover.

I believe Clemons got a little down and didnt rehab his knee exactly as he should have. Remember he went home for a little bit during the summer.
It smells like microwaved homeless people in here.
kinda makes alittle sense that that would happen. Being a true freshman, getting the opportunity to start and playing well and then BOOM, with one play your whole season is gone. I would get down if this happened too. Let the kid get back to 100% and DO NOT rush him back. Think Mobley can be for this year what Clemons was last year.
Without question. Imagine playing your whole life and then leaving all your friends and family to play yet that gets taken away from you not long after. That would be beyond suckage.
Its sucks. A healthy sophomore Clemons would have been a beast. The bad luck strikes again.
Well on the bright side, running back is one of the precious few positions on this team with lots of talented options, if an expected contributor is unable to do so for whatever reason.
with George, Sanders, CoShik, then add Mobley and possibly Taylor to that mix and you've still got 5 very able backs in the backfield. The cupboard is certainly not bare, and we can afford to get Clemons all the way back 100% and not chance his future, which is still very bright.
