With what happened last night I would think there would be all kinds of rumors flying. It's awful quiet though? what's going on?
I think most rumors will start coming out tomorrow.
Could be? But I'm sure there is something going on over at the complex today though?
I'm betting that Mitch waits til after next week. It becomes impossible to go .500 when we lose to uga. I would think we may have a resignation a week from tomorrow.
Another possibibilty? Maybe the quiet before the storm (no pun intended). I honestly worry about the players if something don't happen soon.
I can't get an honest answer on what Mitch said after the game, some of which is said to be public record. There are plenty of rumors for sure.
In my opinion, the silence on Barnhart's behalf says a lot.
Been a Cat fan since August of '92
I think you hit the nail on the head.
What does it say to you. To me it says there has been nothing said to the public about anything. What are you assuming it says. just curious.
Earlier this evening, as part of a Tweet, Coach Brooks stated he was back in Lexington for a few days.
Barnharts silence is his typical MO. I hope it translates into "stay at home if you care about UK football".
The meanest dog in Taiwan.
I disagree. Last year he jumped at the chance to show support for Joker. Crickets are chirping at the moment. Very telling.
Well last year he came out and publicly gave his commitment to Joker when things were looking quite rough. If he was still committed to Joker, you would think he would give some sort of statement, especially during this downtrodden time. He hasn't said anything or given any vocal support for the coaching staff, so that leads me to believe Joker's fate is sealed.

Back-channel contact with a former coach of a school about an hour down the road happened a couple of weeks ago. It was simply to gauge if there were any interest. I can't tell you how it went, but I do know it happened. I don't really care if you believe me or not.
Can you give a name or any hints as to who it is you're referring to? If you have qualms about posting anything, you could maybe make your post VIP so not everyone could see it? Please?
John L Smith .... I just knew it. Dagnabbit Mitch... WTF are you thinking?
Nice Job. I needed a good laugh this morning. Thanks. Wish I would have thought of it!
I posted the other day that things were going to get entertaining around here with the supposed "insiders" bringing vague and broad "inside info" to the board over the next two months. Should be fun.
If they are going to do anything they will really have to pay out the money to get a first class coach. If I am a coach that is going to take over the program I would require that they put the money into the program to be competitive in SEC .If the University isn't going to make the commitment we might as well keep the current staff. I saw a lot of good things when Towles and Smith were at quarterback. And we have over forty freshman,RS freshmen and sophmores.
Like I said, I don't care if you believe me, but have you ever seen me start anything stupid and ridiculous on here before? I believe that answer would be no. I also believe Petrino will be the next coach at Tennessee. I didn't say he was going to be coach here.
Petrino at UT is what's been my fear. Imagine him at that school with the resources they have. He won't likely give UK a sniff. I'd rather see him at Auburn. He can fight it out in the west with Saban and Miles again and we can avoid that being an annual deal.
I didn't say a thing about you. I simply was making a broad statement that we're going to hear lots of supposed insiders make broad statements fronting it as inside info.
You're the one who connected yourself to the comment i made.
