@RowlandRIVALS: BREAKING: Just learned JUCO wide receiver Javess Blue has committed to #Kentucky.
Yessirr! So great. Quality player
Well theres one taller WR. Plus gives us some class spacing
Nice I had this guy 2nd on my wr want list behind Samples. Number 11 juco on espn
And no offense to 247s rankings but I tend to go by espn's rankings
Just read this elsewhere ,awesome and should put some pressure on Timmons one would think
24/7: 87 3 star
Rivals: 5.6 3 star
Scout: 3 star
ESPN: 83 4 star
3 years to play 2.
Well everyone tends to go with the highest rating. He could be listed as a 3 star everywhere, but if one site lists him as a 4 star we go with that...
I go with whomever has the highest amount of stars for a recruit at that time, lol
"Above anything else, I hate to lose." -- Jackie Robinson
Always go with the higher ranking
ESPN is terrible.
Javess "Big Blue", I can hear it now, BIG BLUE across the middle, pass to BIG BLUE complete, and he goes 60 yards for a "BIG BLUE" touchdown.
Scout sucks Imo. I like all three rivals espn and 247 put them together and you got a very nice player. We will see by his production whether he is a 3 or a 4. But this kid could be a 50 reception 700 800 yard wr.
Yeah Scout is awful
I disagree that espn is terrible. They hit and miss all the time like every other site. But ask any expert a high 3 star is a potential all sec performer. A 4 star means almost cant miss all conference and 5 star means NFL.
Great pickup. Love his film.

Except Morgan newton was a 4* lol
Newton had all the physical tools a scout would look for in a big time qb. Problem is the coaching staff is a joke. I remember me and my dad driving to see Newton play a highschool game he was unbelievable. We never expected he would be a bust. I think you put him in a simpler system with actual playmakers and we are not having this convo. Newton takes the blame but he never had the weapons to excel.
^He actually has a point there, Newton had all the tools you wanted in QB, he was poorly develop and should have red shirted when he came in. ESPN tends to be accurate but like any other service, they'll miss for time to time. Not every player will develop right, sometimes, they go into the wrong system, etc.
I don't always post but when I do, I try to make things interesting
Quag, i agree totally, I attended spring practice one day after Morgan signed but before he enrolled and he was there, he had that deer in the headlights look when they would call plays. i told someone right thenthat i didnt think he would ever make it. seemed he was lost, more, much more, than even you would expect.
Blue was the unconfirmed commitment. Been trying to get a number all day.
Is there any word on the other two commits that you mentioned earlier today from the same source?
Thanks Josh so we may have two more then plus the silent
That's why we have the 247Composite. Averages rankings from all major recruiting services. Useful tool.
247 has blue rated as an 87 and a 3-star prospect. The 247Composite has him slightly lower, at .8663.
