Can't overstate the physicality of Julius Randle, Aaron Harrison and Andrew Harrison.
James Young sat out most of practice with some type of hip injury.
Marcus Lee sat out most of practice with back pain.
Dakari Johnson is looking good. Matching up well with other big men on the East. Just not as athletically explosive as Julius Randle, Chris Walker, Isaiah Hicks, Andrew Wiggins and Rondae Jefferson.
With WCS back, who would you expect to get more backup minutes at center, Dakari or Marcus Lee?
Leaning towards Marcus Lee because of his athleticism and game changing shot blocking. That is a big question though.
Dakari will probablely see more time at Center with Marcus seeing some time backing up Julius.
Thanks Jerry. Looking forward to seeing you at tomorrow's events.

Physicality especially at the guard spots is something UK sorely lacked this season. Those three are men among boys.
As for Johnson, not very explosive but strong as an ox and a guy that has great footwork and knows how to use his body. Oh yeah, and he's 7-feet-tall.
I see Aaron Gordon as a kid that will struggle a little in a more structured environment. Especially in the college game where the lane is packed. You better be able to post up and make simplistic moves to score. You try to get fancy and your gonna be a high turnover guy. Don't get me wrong he's still gonna be terrific but not as unstoppable as he looks in these all star game environments.
I'd rather have Randle all day long personally. I know I saw a few people preferring Gordon to Randle and I just don't agree with that not if your looking for a college 4 man.
Lots of very-awesome-to-think-about options for next season. Oh, and Wiggins.....whenever you are ready bro. :-)
Can't say I agree. I think Aaron Gordon is one hell of a player and it will show at the college level and in the pros. I'm not sold that Julius Randle is better than Aaron Gordon.

Isnt Lee a natural four? I thought he was too small to play center. Thats interesting though
Aaron Gordon is FREAK, But Julius Randle is the consensus #1 power forward and people say he is the best forward not in the NBA.
WOW! I must need a nap. I watched the commercial and was like, "What is the point of posting that commercial on here .... I don't get it."
Then it dawned on me and I was cracking up.

Parents just don't understand!!

My opinion is a little different on Gordon. I don't see him as a 4 long term either. I see him as a 3 in the NBA as his skills evolve.
Can't wait to see these two in the game.
I don't doubt that Gordon will shine in this kind of game. And I'm certainly not doubting that he'll have a great one year college career. lol.
