Anybody know when the kickoff time for the UF game on 9/22 will be announced?
It will be announced a little later today.
SEC network 12:21pm
Well that sucks.
If you're Kentucky this is the best possible time in my mind. The Swamp isn't the same during the day. It's hot, yes, but it's not near as hostile or rowdy. A lot of teams have gone in there and hung around in earlier kickoffs because it just doesn't seem to have the same bite to it as night starts.
Doesn't have the same bite and the fans are certainly not as excited. If they lose to Tennessee the attendance could be WAY down.
Nutt's Mississippi team and Petrino's Hogs both took down the Gators in the daytime. Those are the last 2 losses in the Swamp I can remember?
Petrino didn't end up beating UF there in 2009. That was the game Arkansas got HOSED and the crew was suspended for a week or two. Miss State beat UF there Urban's last year. Also, Bama and FSU won there last year as well.
Isn't this the longest losing streak in the NCAA now? Time to break another streak!
Nice thought, but that's about as far as that will go. Our defense will not be able to stop Florida's offense, and their defense will possibly have problems with our offense if we can play mistake-free. But the game is in Gainesville so we'll get no love from the zebras, and we'll probably let Trey Burton score six more TD's again as a senior with our defense being as soft as Golden Corral soft-serve ice cream, and let's not even mention that we always find some kind of way to choke against Florida even if they're not very good. Like last year or this year, take your pick.
Next year in Lexington may be our time to finally beat the Gators. Maybe. Possibly. But only in a perfect storm, with all of the stars perfectly aligned and if they somehow manage to play one of the worst games ever in Florida football history.
Then Kentucky might have a slight chance of finally beating Florida in football. On second thought........nah!
Florida ran the same sets last year that Louisville ran against UK and gashed our defense. It was never close, but our special teams stunk it up as well as the offense in that game last year. UK had better not over look WKU.
why ???? you give western to much credit... Sorry will pull away in the second half. Western has to little back up talent. UK Fla could be close with a few turnovers early in UK's fav. But then again ???
