  • Already happened. Last year on the Joe B & Denny show after the UL loss he let his feelings be known that it isnt near the priority it ought to be with the UK administration & the AD. Poor Joe B was pretty uncomfortable, he probably had no idea the can of worms he was opening when he asked Rich his opinion on UK football and what it needed.

  • We have now lost to Louisville in consecutive seasons to go along with an awful loss to WKU. The view of Commonwealth Stadium on TV is embarrassing to see the thousands of empty seats. No matter what ANYONE says the program is getting dangerously close to where it was when Brooks took over from Probation. Don't believe me? Look at the defensive roster and who is slated on the depth chart. Two thirds of the kids being asked to turn Kentucky football program into a SEC winner wouldn't see the field at other SEC schools. Not to mention true freshman slated as first players off the bench at several spots.

Joker has been here three seasons and this is the best he can do at fielding a legitimate SEC contending defense? Things have gotten worse and will continue to get worse until action is taken.

Things are a complete mess within the program and the leader (Barnhart) needs to step up and take some direction or he needs to be shown the door as well.

Joker was expected to take the program to the next level, you know the entire 'RISE' thing that was preached upon his hiring? We have gone three steps in reverse under his guidance and will continue to fall farther and farther behind until he is relived of his duties and someone his brought in that is capable of getting the job done.

This has been a massive failure across the board.

    ***From Matt's Notes Today below.***

+++If Cartier Rice isn't able to go Saturday that leaves Kentucky in a position where a true freshman CB is going to have to play opposite Martavius Neloms. Against Florida. In 'The Swamp'. That isn't exactly a recipe for success, but Phillips did say they played those kids already this year for that very reason.

”That's the reason why we've played them,” Phillips said. “That's the reason why we've played Tiller and J.D. Harmon because of that. We've been through this a few times where we've got caught on the road in an SEC environment and now you've got to put a freshman out there for the first time so we didn't want to get caught in that. It's still different but at least they have a little comfort in games.”

  • Actually, Kentucky did post one first quarter touchdown in that segment, a defensive score against Jacksonville State last season if I recall correctly.
