not an insider or an all knowing person by no means but, don't you all find it odd Calipari would not already extend an offer to Dominique Hawkins if he really believed Gordon would stay out west? Plus, Gordon fits Calipari's system better than anyone i have seen. All effort all the time, UBER athlete, great defender and great rebounder. can handle the ball and push the ball in transistion if he were to get a rebound. I'm not saying we land him, but i think we have more of a chance than what everyone is letting on.
If the ones that people are saying stay, it leaves only one spot which I believe is being left for Wiggins.
It will be Oregon or Arizona for Gordon. I honestly don't think UK is even recruiting him at this point.

Gordon's recruitment ended the day UK got Randle. May not have got him regardless. Like CMD said, Arizona or Oregon most likely.
I'd still have to go play for Sean Miller if given the choice. And I think he'll win out in the end over Altman.
Think Oregon has built a lot of momentum though and closer to home. Think Altman has done a hell of a job there. Really underrated coach IMO. And they're a young team that's only going to get better.
They were still only a 12 seed in the tourney. Thats not very good. NC St. had a great run from a similar spot last year and failed to capitalize this year. I'm not buying there overall program just yet. Zona and Miller though I am buying. He makes a run every year.
Zona will be stacked in the front court next season. Gordon seems like a kid that wants to be the man and play 35+ minutes a night. Will be interesting to see who wins out.
I really think Oregon wins out because they have 3 five star players in their front court and Oregon will be one of the best teams in the west next year along with Zona. But what about Altman to UCLA with what he's done his whole career why not him would be a great hire.
It's ZONA ALL THE WAY.... no way he's going to Oregon and passing up on all those student body's at UA. Plus, nobody is putting up with all that rain when you could be funning in the sun 350 days a year.
So, hot bodies in the sun or granola girls in Nirvana sweaters....it's no contest.
Don't underestimate the Nike angle on this. Oregon is selling Gordon on being the face of the basketball program, with promotional support & backing from Nike.
Oregon was clearly ridiculously under-seeded, not to mention the fact that if Gordon does indeed go to Zona, he's going to have to compete for PT with Jerrett, Ashley, Big T, and Rondae Jefferson coming in. I don't know about everyone else, but that seems like a bad fit for me. You would have to think common sense wise by Gordon that this decision would come down to UW and Oregon. Not to mention Oregon would be even better than this season (Obviously in the Sweet 16, and won the Pac-12), and would be legit favorites to win the PAC-12, and maybe even a threat to make a deep run in the tournament if their cards go right with Gordon. Of all the schools, Oregon seems like the best fit.
Gordon is a wing not a PF.
I believe the delay with Hawkins is more due to Wiggins and final public decisions from the freshmen, Wiltjer, Harrow, Polson and Hood rather than Gordon.
Don't think he's developed the perimeter skills just yet to play the 3 at the college level.
At the same time, not sure why this thread is ongoing. Gordon not coming to UK.
Coach Cal knows more than we do. He just got through meeting with the current team. He knows who is going to go. He knows who may/may not transfer. He knows who he told to leave. We don't.
So Cal extending an offer, doesn't necessary indicate much.
