What do you think is the position battle to watch this fall?
I am going to say center. It is a very important position and UK has no experience there.

Im going to go with Corner. We need some guys to really emerge at that spot.
I agree Josh that Center is going to be important and will probably go into the fall from whats been said. But, I think the RB spot will be really fun to watch and may change leaders more than once, esp when Kemp gets thrown in the mix. I thought Sanders and George did good jobs last yr., and with this offense our RBs could be huge weapons, especially until we get the kind of depth at WR that we really need.
QB too obvious of an answer, so I'm going with SLB.
Based on my assumptions, MLB and WLB have starters in Avery Williamson and Khalid Henderson, respectively. Who will win the SLB spot? I want Josh Forrest to step up, but Miles Simpson appears to be making a nice push (for the record, I've never been a fan of Miles as a player. Just never saw SEC starter in him. JMO)
Am I forgetting anyone in the battle?
Yeah, you left out the guy who has been running more with the 1's this Spring than the two you named: Kory Brown.
I agree with all the positions mentioned so far.....C, CB, RB, QB, SLB. Guess what? There are even more. To me, there are so many position battles going on that it reminds me of the old Lay's potato chip commercial......betcha can't eat just one.
I think the battle at Safety will be one to watch. I can't wait to see what happens when McWilson gets on campus and how he challenges for a starting job back there, maybe alongside Ashley Lowery. Glenn Faulkner and the Blaylocks are also other guys that I am anxious to get production out of.

IMO I think it should be Darin Blaylock
Yeah I read Daron was running with the ones. Ashley Lowery is the one getting alot of praise though. Hell it will be kinda nice having two Safeties that are in the 6'1 215 range
Oline: You can be as good as you want, if your OL isnt up to snuff..you wont accomplish anything. I would like to see the talented, athletic youngsters like Swindle, Nared, Watson,Meyers..step up and join Darrian Miller, and West and Mitchell. Mabye even Kyle Meadows play some outside..where his long arms and quick feet will be usefull. Our guards could be excellent..Zach West,Jordan Swindle, Shaq Love, Jordan Watson, and TE Nared.
Im pretty sure Swindle is playing outside and mitchell inside.
I actually think this Oline is going to be pretty darn good this year. We have some talent and a scheme that protects the QB very well
Has D. Blaylock been moved to SLB recently? Everything I've gotten out of the Spring Practice reports points to D. Blaylock running with the 1's at Safety, along with Lowery.
K. Brown has been practicing at SLB (Simpson as well). That was the position battle TheMayor was discussing in his post.
Maybe you're saying you feel that D. Blaylock should be moved to SLB? Not really sure from your abbreviated post though. Can you elaborate?
I think he should be moved there
That would be my understanding as well out of Spring Practice reports so far.......Miller, Eatmon, Myers, Mitchell, Swindle. Once West is fully back, he could play G or C. I've seen some reports (and tweets) indicating positive things at practice concerning Toth at C and Big Jack at G as well.
That is a very big line. You would think those guys could run block a little.
I'll say WR. Will the following Wr's get out-played by incoming players: Sweat, LeGree, Collins, Robinson, Cunningham, or Cobbins. Willingto bet that Blue ,Timmons, and maybe Badet beat out all but LeGree and Robinson.
