I like him as a back up quarterback only.
What position does it not matter, if you trip over your own feet?
IIRC that play the Center actually stepped on his foot as he was backing up...
That is not true. I saw it live and you can watch it all day long on You Tube. No one stepped on Newton's foot. He just lost his balance when he started to drop back and stumbled to the turf. No one touched him to bring him down. Watch it yourself.
Well now that you have criticzed a player who came in as a frosh and helped the team win some SEC games, it is now time to brag about the great fans UK has.
What play? He does it on every play
Me? That is what happened. That is criticism?
Your OP sure sounded that way.

Morgan's confidence was destroyed after an abysmal start by his WRs, OL and himself...
I still think he throws an OK deep ball and some nice sideline fades.
You put him out there in the Wildcat in red zone opportunities against the OOCs and see if he can build back some of that confidence.

Agree with that.
I agree here and that may be the reason for MN to red shirt. A change of positions may just make him a contributor in a year, but to come into fall camp and switch will just be tough. If he knows the Wildcat, then maybe he can do some things this year. Whitlow and Cobbins maybe able to do some of the same thing, giving UK some much needed diversity on offense.
Okay with that being said, it must be true that he is top heavy, right? Just kidding.
Huh? What does that mean? He just tripped and couldn't get his balance. I think he just took a short step with right leg and got his weight way past his center of gravity. I am sure it was embarrassing but not that big a deal by itself.
