Ok lets say we get Jahlil Okafor out of the 2014 class and Dakari Johnson decides to stay his 2nd year. Cal could possibly have a front court of: SF: Karl Towns, has the shot, dribbling and defensive capabilities to do so. PF: Jahlil Okafor, Very rare post up game that no one has anymore. He also is pretty mobile for his size and seems to have a very soft touch. C: Dakari Johnson, just a monster in the middle with soft touch. That is a front court of 7 footers with 3 point and medium range abilities. How would you stop that?

I don't think Townes can play the 3...there would be some teams that have a 6'5 SF and too quick and fast for Townes...Goodwin played the 3 for us a lot and liggins and Kidd-gilchrist...Townes can't hang with them in open court...I think it's more reasonable to say we could have a front court of lyles, Townes, dakari...or even a 3 year poythress with Townes and dakari both of those r scary also
I do agree that Trey Lyles is more probable than Jahlil because Cal seems to want Muddiay rather than Tyus Jones. Plus Jahlil and Tyus are considerd a package deal. Who will be our 2G? I prefer Theo Pinson(sp?) over Rashad Vaughn but others prefer Vaughn
Hawkins could play 2 I think
Intriguing thought, but I read elsewhere that Okafor has us third on his list because we already have Towns and perhaps a few front court players would return (Lee, Johnson) and also that Mudiay may have eligibility issues.
Heard the same about mudiay and possible eligibility issues...if we have poythress come back as a junior and he can play the 3 the. I think Stanley Johnson if we get him is a capable 2
