Sorry but this was dumb.

Agreed. An absolute abuse of power. If he gets hammered to the fullest extent of the law I'd be OK with it.

Did something new happen?

Yeah, he's in deep doo.
He's not gonna be playing tonight. Or ever again in the world of politics.
Apparently Richie can still shoot.......a deer.
He may get to play in prison... in more ways than one.
Man, just reading that story made me sick. If you didn't have a view of politicians being crooked and doing this for their own ends, well this story definitely throws some gasoline on the fire. And to think one of our beloved ex-players, who is from this state no less would take advantage of his position in such a way as this is appalling. If I never hear the name Richie Farmer and politics again I would be a happy man. VERY, VERY disheartening
Taking politics aside... its extremely sad to see one of my childhood icons take advantage of the state that put him there because of his basketball pedegree... simply sad and it taints my memory of Richie Farmer.
Clever stuff here.
What gets me is the sheer amount of stuff he got away with during his tenure. I would think any one of those things would be enough to make most people a nervous wreck worrying if they're gonna get caught. Not him, he was piling things up like it was Christmas every day.
Just wonder what the total figure of dollars were that he screwed the tax payers out of? Has to be a helluva number.
As a sidenote, this would make a great topic for Justified to do a season's worth of episodes on. Of course Raylan would have to shoot Richie at the end of it.
^My sentiments exactly.
You can take the boy out of the trailer but you can't take the trailer out of the boy.
Hey Carl, have you ever lived in a "trailer?"
Sad thing is this happens way more often than most people care to admit or know. The waste in every level of government is absurd and is why taxes should NOT be raised on anyone. Fix all the loopholes, wasteful spending, and blatant corruption and we could actually start reducing the deficit again.
I hope Farmer and every crooked politician out there on both sides of the aisle go to jail and have to pay back the money they took or wasted.
Lots of good people live in trailers. My sister and her husband started out in a trailer.

Yeah I know. There's a difference between people that live or have lived in trailers and trailer trash. I was talking about the trailer trash.
