Alexander committed to Florida State? Can anyone confirm?
The Alexander twins to FSU has been considered a given by most all of the gurus that report this stuff for a living. Just a formality.
Twitter reporting that that Mackenro committed, but not Mackenzie. Further scuttlebutt over at Noles247 from Josh Newburg in a thread titled "Here's the Scoop". Can't read the Noles247 thread, but speculation is that acceptance of Makenro's commitment may be with strings or in question.
Uhh, no, that's not at all accurate.
Is there a way we can wager a beer or a bourbon that Mackenzie doesn't commit to FSU? I'd say UK has a better chance than FSU right now for Mackenzie.
where are you getting this? there's rumors everywhere that the fsu offer was conditional on both Alexanders together. and mackenzie doesn't seem enamored with fsu.
formality?? **NO Personal Attacks** Positive things or threads you have NOTHING to say, but a negative one and you are one of the first to post about how it was eventually going to happen.
Note: Was tempted to delete the whole post.

"Kentucky Football needs to be and will be a championship contender in the SEC."~Mitch Barnhart 11/4/12
Slinger, Off topic question. I saw where you compared Austin Logan to an Ashton Gibbs type player. Do you consider that a good thing? Will that type of talent get UK to where it needs to be, or should they be holding out for better prospects?
Damn another good tread turned VIP
Is it true or not. Can't read the VIP comments. That is only thing i dislike about this site is the originial topic is not VIP but the comments go VIP and i think it sucks for the non paying members. If i could afford to pay for it I would but can't
not Ashton Gibbs genius Ashton COBB!! Used to play safety for us?? Or have you already forgotten?? He was a pretty good player and a really heavy hitter at safety. And besides, Ashton Gibbs doesn't even play football(or did for us), if I remember right he's a basketball player on Pitt.
Life ain't fair.
Actually it was Ashton Cobb and my comparison was to the way he hits, not so much in how he plays. From the film I saw he was a better tackler than Cobb, he wraps up and drives thru the ball-carrier, Cobb had a tendency to go for the kill-shot more times than not rather than wrap up.
I think Logan is on par with the guys in the last two classes which is a step up over the classes previous to those. To put it another way, he could play at Georgia, probably not at an Alabama.
I think you are referring to Ashton Cobb and i think slinger was refering to one aspect of his game. I think he said that Logan hits like Cobb which would be a good thing. Kind of like a running back being as fast as Alphonso Smith. That would be a great thing but might offer better insticts as a running back.

Oops Slinger already answered. I was a min late.
Take your information and go home boys.
I started the thread and yes I'm a VIP/paying member. The reason I like this board is it keeps out a lot of the trash out that the other sites don't. I'm not saying you are one of those people you just happen to not be able to pay at this time. Best of luck to you.

I know life isn't fair. But don't punish the non paying members if the thread is originally non VIP then the comments should be non VIP. I have no problem with anyone on here I just it is not right to have a non VIP topic have VIP comments.
I appreciate that and I completely agree that this site is better than several others.
Fisher dropped in with some info that is VIP. Then there were about four posts regarding that bit. Maybe one or two more that weren't but just got caught by the default and then one mobile post that might have been caught by default or an accident due to mobile posting.
Other than Fisher's one post, not much of anything.
I've followed the Alexander recruitment as closely as possible for quite a while now. What I've found is that there's just not much solid info to be found. The Alexanders are pretty tight lipped. What I have found from reading various boards, stories, and speaking with some Alabama fans directly is that there's a far better chance they go to different schools. Earlier in the year it was being tossed around that Mackenzie was upset that schools were using his brother to try and get to him. I've also been told that it's very important to him to start right away and to play against top competition. Also, from what I've been able to find out the in state schools are not likely. Alabama fans seem to be sure they are not getting him. Not sure what happened at their camp he attended, but the started writing themselves off immediately after that. Not saying we will get him, but I think it's possible, and although I can't find any info to support this hunch, I think he chooses Georgia if he goes with one of the big boy football schools on his list.
I was referring to the VIP posts in the middle. Chris' info, a couple related comments and then some back and forth yacking
