Mike Farrell at Rivals did an update with Myles Nash today and he lists UK as one of the 4 schools recruiting him the hardest along with Rutgers, WVU, and UVA. I'd love to somehow land both Nash and Drennon.
Also interestingly Nash is saying now because of his performances in camps he hopes teams won't immediately make him an OLB and will give him a shot at playing QB.
That doesn't just make Josh happy, count me as well. I want Nash and Drennon as much as anyone in this class.

LOL me too prince I was just getting at Josh saying if we wanted Drennon we needed to watch how Nash was mentioning us. The fact that we're staying in the thick of it for Nash bodes well.
yeah, I think we give him the option similar to what we did with Caffey last year. Tell him we will give him every opportunity at his desired position, and if it works out we're all the better for it. And if not, we still hold the option of moving him to where he would be best suited to see the field. I mean, it worked out pretty well for Caffey, as he is ALREADY a starter at CB. Think Nash could end up having the very same kind of effect. And Drennon goes without saying
It does make me happy. It should make everyone happy. UK will gives Myles a shot at QB just like they have everyone else. But when it does not work out, we would be getting one heck of a player.
Nice update. Thanks. Maybe a few commits will fall into place over the next few weeks now that school is getting out and camps are starting. It looks like there will be some good kids here this Sunday and then Kilgore on Wednesday. Myles would be awesome if we could some how add him.
Thanks for the info.
I need football season to start now. Uggh!
Good news indeed. I think the team will surprise a lot of people this year in a positive way and recruiting will take off from there. It's nice finally having a staff that can recruit and not just 1-2 coaches doing the bulk of the work.
True. Pretty much all the coaches have a recruiting reputation at this point. They also all recruit different areas well. But like you said we need some success this year to take things up a notch. Man wouldn't it be an awesome story for this team to get to a bowl and for Joker to save his job, then recruiting picks up, then the young talent in the program which most are excited about take us up a notch in the SEC, then recruiting picks up even more. Joker could go from Goat to GOAT at UK pretty quickly if he/we could just get to a bowl this year. I'm excited as hell to see what happens this year. If Joker doesn't get it done then the program goes in another direction and maybe the fanbase unites. Either way its gonna be an interesting next couple of years.
