Matt Jones is hearing something no idea when it will come out though
where you see this?
Matt's twitter it's coded but he's heard something
Talked to a couple of guys who usually know. Neither believe anything is up right now. I'd be mildly surprised if there was any movement before the July evaluation period, unless there's a 2014 kid who has an offer and wants to pounce on it.

i heard we will have a commitment in a couple weeks. it is not a big name though. all i will say
I thought we only recruited "big names".
That's all you needed to say.
Robert Hubbs maybe? Has been some buzz elsewhere about Cal liking him lately. Would not be a big name.
Robert Hubbs 6'6" SG (2013) Dyer Co. HS, TN/ M33M 17u elite- Highlights Here's some clips of Robert Hubbs from the Jack Jones Invitational and The Real Deal in the Rock. Hubbs is an explosive athlete. In an earlier interview with PM Hoops, Hubbs stated that he was known for dunking on defenders. Let these highlights be solid evidence to his claim. Please enjoy!
Hubbs is a name that I had been curious to see if UK would get involved but just not sure I see it happening. That is unless they fall out of favor with the Harrisons, which is very unlikely.
As far as a potential commitment, I don't see any way it's from the 2014 class because UK hasn't offered any scholarships in that class (except maybe Andrew Wiggins).
Of the 2013 guys that UK is in on, James Young is really the only one I would think that may be on the verge of possibly pulling the trigger.
Just saw where MJones said on his radio show it was Senegalese 7-5 C Mamadou Ndiaye.
Mamadou Ndiaye competed favorably against solid competition at the 2012 Double Pump Spring Classic in Las Vegas. Ndiaye is a prospect who was known mostly for his height, but recently he is receiving high major interest because of his combination of height and skill. Ndiaye is a member of the class of 2012.
Jones did not say that. That's who he ventured strictly as a guess.
hint hint maybe
Sorry/ Got it sceondhand. I hope it's Young.
Watching that video of Mamadou tells me two things: Somebody needs to teach him to quit bringing the ball down to his waist where even Leroy Byrd can tie him up and Davis was even more impressive shotblocker after watching that. That dude is 7'5 and I only saw one block that wasn't begging for a foul call. Davis made an art out of blocking going straight up. Swinging his harms down like that, big fella will be riding the bench with foul trouble if he doesn't get that corrected.
Jeff and I saw N'Diaye extensively at the NBPA Top 100 and had a lot of fun doing so.
He has a mean streak and looks like he genuinely enjoyed playing the game. That being said, I would be surprised if UK was showing that level of interest at this time.
He has a lot of potential but still has a long way to go still. Not convinced, as of now, that N'Diaye can play at the UK level even being 7-5.
Why exactly are you comparing Mamadou and Anthony Davis?
I didn't hear the show but on another site I seen where Jones said he was guessing it was Young or Ndiaye. Is that true or did he just guess Ndiaye?
His GUESS was Young or N'Diaye.
Again, I'd be shocked if it were N'Diaye though.
Chris has it right Matt said he wasn't given a name but he was guessing that it was Young or N'Diaye just based on what people were telling him.
There was another poster on Cats Illustrated that stated more or less the same type info that we were going to hear something on the 2013 class this week. Another poster then went on to say that it was James Young.
If Young is keeping it this quiet he's doing a good job of it

Hold up. I think I might be one of those posters. I'm pretty sure the other guy and myself seen that it was gonna be a 2013 recruit on KSR last night. Then I was the one that said I seen that also and I guessed it was Young. I really don't know #$%^! LOL
No it wasn't you but I did see your post. z1sab who's acted like he's had info before is saying it's Young. Don't know that he's right but he sure acts like he has info.
Z71sab also said minutes before Noel revealed his Kentucky commitment that he had called coach Cal to tell him he was going to Georgetown.
Yeah I know hence I said he claimed to have sources
I was just saying at 7'5" the guy doesn't appear to have the shotblocking prowess you would expect. I just meant size may not be able to be coach but neither can timing and instinct.
He's only 16 but yeah AD is one of the best shotblockers to come out of high school/college in forever. So no he doesn't measure up. I still think he's kind of incredible though at his age with that size. I don't remember Yao or Shawn Bradley or Manute Bol at 16. Something tells me they were much more uncoordinated than this kid. I may be wrong on that though.
