Some serious drug issues there. 4 busted for selling and saw (might not be true) where 81 failed a drug test.
Wow, thats the entire team. . .
Sounds like the 81-82 number might be accurate. .
Yeah. Just heard that they tested the entire team at once, which is a little unusual.

That's amazing that the entire team is a bunch of druggies. I mean, come on? Surely there is someone on the team that can just say no to drugs...
That story is insane.
Yep. . . crazy that it was that deep and no one knew (or cared)
OMG! College kids on drugs!!!!!!
I bet the majority of them tested positive for pot. I'd be more concerned if it was cocaine though.
That must have been the result of some info or investigation. Normally that's the only way you would see that.
This is insane though. Wow!
I think if you drug test the men's basketball and football teams tonight you wouldn't like the results either.
I smoked a lot of pot in high school (played baseball and football) and was drug tested before and once during the season. Passed both times and so did all the other guys I know for a fact were smoking weed. Maybe the tests have changed but we beat them pretty easy back in the 90's. I think it's a lot more prevalent (pot) among athletes than people want to admit.
Sure they are.....the walk-ons!

Keep Calm & Stoops On..
If it was just a few guys testing positive for pot, ok. But the entire team??
That is ridiculous!!! No matter what drug they tested for, if the entire team fails a drug test, there is a MAJOR problem.

Of course a lot of college kids are doing it but the entire team? At a 'Christian' college? They have some major issues if this is true.
Like I said if it's weed I'm not that concerned. College kids smoke pot. How many college kids drink underage? TCU isn't Bob Jones University or Liberty.
Now a drug like cocaine is a far more serious situation. It's a highly addictive substance that can lead to numerous issues not just related to health or the criminal justice system. Get a high profile player hooked on coke, get him into a little bit of debt and "Hey, you wanna pay this off? You know the spread of that game next week....."
Three kids on their team were dealing? I'm impressed!
Drug abuse was so bad that a recruit said it was why he didn't sign with TCU and that prompted the drug tests... nice
Patterson ordered the drug test Feb. 1 -- national signing day -- after a recruit said he would not play for TCU because of players' drug use, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Wednesday, citing anonymous sources. TCU police chief Steve McGee said that the investigation was prompted by complaints from players, students and parents.
Four TCU football players were arrested in a drug sweep on and around campus on Wednesday.
Yesterday, 17 Texas Christian University students were arrested by Fort Worth authorities following a six-month drug sting. Four TCU...
Yeah and they win and win big. Very interesting. When I saw failed drug tests considering how good they've been I immediately though PED's but no these kids are smoking the ganj.
I'd honestly rather see kids smoke weed than drink. But thats kind beside the point here.
