College basketball is mediocre parity at its best. I'm going with Butler. Gonzaga is my second pick.

I'll go with Southeast Louisiana Tech State if they can get out of the mid-south Atlantic metro conference of the Americas conference tournament.
I agree this year could be crazy at the tourney.
I have to agree that Gonzaga and Butler have a very good chance to make the final 4. Gonzagas starting guards Bell and Pangos are 1 of the best set of guards in the country and Butlers Rotnei Clark is 1 of the best perimeter shooters I have ever seen. Since I dont think UK will win the whole thing it would be exciting to see a mid major win it if people still consider either of the teams I mentioned still mid major.
I'd pick Gonzaga over Butler. Don't forget Elias Harris for Gonzaga, he's been a stud his entire college career. They could make a deep run, but there are a few mid-majors who could make a similar run this year.
I hope you are right. I don't think I can stand it if Duke, Kansas, or L-ville wins the title. If UK can't win it, I'll be pulling for the glass slipper all the way.
Welcome the new generation of domination.
By the way, has anyone heard anything about Clark? Last I heard this morning, he was out indefinitely with a really bad neck injury. There were talks at one point that he may be done for the season.
Indiana is going to win it boys...when all said and done..they have everything you need to win it....talent, depth, outside shooting, pg play, inside presence, coaching, etc.
I'm going to predict an all "traditional power" final four.

Sorry, but IU doesn't play enough hard defense for me to believe that. On a night they don't shoot lights out, they're going down to a tough team.
I'm going to predict a Final Four like two season ago...two traditional powerhouses (IU, KU, UL, Duke, Syracuse) and two "non-traditional" (I hate to use mid-majors) powerhouses (Gonzaga, Butler, San Diego St., Creighton, VCU, Wichita State). Only hope this year, if that happens, that Cinderella wins it all.
I hadnt heard that and hope he is ok. Gonzaga I think has a very good team and its true that Harris has been really good also. They have a big guy that although hes no AD he is fairly good. I think they could beat Indiana if they end up playing one another. Unfortunately UL looks pretty good right now and could go all the way but I still will pull for Gonzaga to be the top dog when the nets are cut in April. But everyone better get their hits in this year b/c next year we will take no prisoners.
I pray to god that Louisville, Duke, IU or freaking Kansas does not win this satans spawn of a tourney this year. If UK has no chance which I'm not willing to believe just yet just don't let it be one of those 4 teams.
I wouldn't call UL, Duke, IU, Kansas, or Florida untraditional powers. I think the champion will come from that group.
I just read that he will probably miss the next 2 games but it isnt a season ending injury. I think UK will be blessed with 2-4 shooters next year depending on if we get Wiggins or not. Our perimeter attack will be awesome and the lowpost will be excellent also. I just cant see a weakness with the team of 2013-14 on paper anyhow. They havent played a game yet of course but theres no way that Calipari doesnt mold that team into 1 of the best of all time especially if we get 1 of the 3 remaining players Cal is still involved with.
