Been thinking a lot on how to rank these guys. Both are tremendous talents. Think that the pure shooting and deep range of Aaron gives him the edge. Have seen him also play the point when Andrew has been hurt, and I couldn't tell a difference.

Man, watching them play in an AAU setting must be tough. Probably pretty tough to tell who is who right? Is the consensus still that they are a lock for the cats?
Thanks for stopping by, Jerry.
Not sure, but I think both are top 5 talents. Andrew just makes everybody better. The game that was televised on ESPN he made the guy going to A&M look like a top 10 talent.
Again, I'm not sure who is better and perhaps we won't know for sure until they're on different teams in the NBA.
Far from a scout but the 2 or 3 times I've seen them on television or espn360 I've thought Aaron has looked better.
Here's video of 7-5 Mamadou N'Diaye, who's name has got a lot of run here locally, at the Amar'e Stoudemire Skills Academy. He comes in at No. 11.
When was this ever the consensus?
Not a jack ass. I am a 4 star poster on RCMB - spartanfan48413
You are about the 1,000th Maryland fan to troll this board regarding the twins. If you're so confident that they're not coming to UK, then there's no reason to come over here.
I'm sorry but you guys are so hypersensitive to the fact that they may actually end up at Kentucky. It's not that big of a stretch. You guys act like Kentucky is some middle of the road Big Ten team or something. I just don't get it.
Who's trolling? And why are you so sensitive as a mod? I simply asked the question, when was this ever the consensus? I never said it would surprise me because it wouldn't. Clearly Cal is the best recruiter in the business. But consensus means that the national media must agree that it's a done deal and I haven't seen that anywhere.
Now if the consensus being referred to is among KY fans, then nevermind. But that would make the original question rather pointless.
Wow, guess he struck a nerve there huh? I think it's actually cool that posters can go on other team boards to post as long as everyone is respectful towards each other.
I believe that they are not 100% decided on where they are going just yet but in my gut I do feel that UK has a slight lead over UMD right now.
UMD is in desperate need for a true PG and if the twins don't come to MD then Roddy Peters is probably the guy that we could get, Jerry Meyer just moved him up to the 3rd rated PG overall behind Harrison and Kasey Hill and 16th overall.
No matter where the twins end up, the other school will still do fine, especially UK.
It just seems like we can't post anything positive about the Harrison twins and UK without a Maryland fan or 2 showing up to tell is why we're wrong lol.
I also like that fans of other teams come on here so frequently to discuss things but it has been the consensus among the national recruiting guys for well over a year now that the Harrisons were likely UK bound. I suppose that's different from a lock but when there's really no such thing as a lock in college recruiting it seems the consensus is the Harrisons are about as close as it gets.
Sorry for the overreaction but again, we've had a ton of UMD fans come over and troll this board about the twins, acting like UK fans are completely naive about UK's position with the Harrisons.
I've been on record as saying that Maryland has a legitimate chance. I thin it's a two-horse race between UK and UMD.
It's certainly not a lock, but I have seen Jerry Meyer, Dave Telep and Evan Daniels all say that they thought UK had the edge. Definitely a consensus but definitely not a lock either.
Am a Maryland fan, but 0% chance we get the twins. Their all Kentucky in my book. Good things never happen to us. :'(
girls the girls they love me.
You're setting up a straw man though Chris. No Maryland fan would be dismissive of Kentucky's chances here unless they were a total idiot. So why bother responding to the ones that do or set them up as representative of most Terps fans?
If posters here are saying Kentucky is 65% to get the Twins based on national experts opinions, Cal's history and just reading tea leaves - fine. But if posters are acting as if it's 90% or 95% done to UK then you're going to pull angry people out of the wood work because there's zero basis for that other than pure and utter speculation.
LOL. Guess I stirred the pot. Oh well.
75% chance they are coming to UK.
If you terp fans can't accept that reality then so be it. You can cry about it on your own board.
We don't claim him. Pic sigs are verboten on our board.
If they don't come to UK then you'll be watching out for pig sh!t. One reason they will come to Lex and that's Andrew. Cal has landed his primary PG target every year since Rose. Highly doubt that will change when it will guarantee both players will be lotto picks after one year. Both would be drafted after one season at UMD sure, but lotto picks? Yeah, won't happen.
I'm not being condescending or rude I'm just stating facts for you. This isn't just UK fans who look at it this way. Recruits, national analysts, NBA scouts, and executives see the same thing.
I'm a huge UK fan, but I'll admit that this recent success is mainly Cal. I don't want to sound arrogant to a program and it's fan I respect. The twins can be successful there, just not as fast thanks to Cal. It's just the way it is.
This board attracts even the Maryland LOD. Damn!
I think you got em ranked pretty accurately Jerry.
What is Lod?

I for one don't mind when UK fans think that just because Cal has made a recruit a priority that it means UK leads for them. Hell, looking at his recent track record, I would be feeling the same way if I were a fan.
What is irritating is comments like this that suggest they MUST to go to UK to become guaranteed lottery picks and going somewhere else would mean that they wouldn't.
I think Cal is one of the best coaches in the NCAA but it's not like he is turning 3 star recruits into lottery picks, he is getting the BEST players in the country.
These kids are going to be lottery picks almost no matter where they end up, they are THAT good.
lol @ 'facts'. You're very factual.
Then explain to me how Shabazz Mohammed dropped in the projected lottery (Chad Ford-ESPN) after picking the Bruins?? Don't believe me?? Look it up. It even came complete with comments from Ford about how had he gone to UK he would have been higher due to the fact that Cal is the best at showcasing young talent and UCLA will limit that. It may irritate you, but that doesn't mean it's not the truth.

I don't believe these 5 star/4 star recruits would necessarily be lottery picks though as to that. You have to think Quincy Miller was a top 5 recruit out of high school, he chose to go to Baylor and ended up as a 2nd round pick. Same could go for Avery Bradley, and many others. Cal has turned "no body" recruits into draft picks, think of Josh Harrellson, Eric Bledsoe (wasn't ranked in the top 100 by most services), DeAndre Liggins (who had many problems under BCG), he's just overall a tremendous coach. That being said, I do think Maryland has a chance with the Harrisons, with recruiting you just never know. But as the consensus is, UK is more than likely leading. But again, it's not such a distant gap that Maryland can't make up honestly.
They will want to go to the NBA as a package deal. :)
