Again, you have no clue. Go ahead and research what happened just prior to Gary's arrival.
My point is, he gets the kids that can get to the league anyway. with or without him. I'm not talking twins here, I'm talking in general. It's easy to claim all these drafted kids when most are sure fire NBAers before stepping foot in Rupp.
Yeah and my point was that he also gets out of there way and doesn't hinder the kids which you see a lot of the time. Not every top kid every year ends up being a lottery pick. Cal is good at finding the true talents, and putting them in a position to expand not inhibit their games.

1st, there is no proof that either player would have done any better. Some kids just won't buy into hard work. Selby played for one of the best coaches in the game. Miller... well, not so much. I probably would give you that one based on Drew being an idiot.
Second... that doesn't irritate me at all. the guy is a great recruiter. He was, at one time, my favorite coach behind Gary... when he was at UMASS. Started losing respect for him after the vacating of wins/etc.
Third, the Lottery is 12 deep. They don't all attend Kentucky. I'll give you top 3.
Lastly, when did I say i was confident they were coming? I said I thought you guys had the edge. I just disagree that it would be any harder for them being lottery picks at UMD as Kentucky. Talent gets drafted early. Doesn't matter where you go.
Not necessarily. Like I tried to point out to you coaches can hinder a kid and then all of a sudden the kid has all these question marks. I agree they'd be lottery either way but if they go to UK they'll be top 5 picks. The difference may be minimal but it can be all the difference when choosing a school. If kids didn't think Cal knew what he was doing they wouldn't be coming to UK by the droves.
"Started losing respect for him after the vacating of wins." You prove right here that you're as dumb as the average fan. Did Cal have anything to do with Camby getting paid? NOPE. Did he have anything to do with the DRose SAT debacle? NOPE. If you wanna come to a UK board and put in your two cents you have to at least be smarter than the average Loserville fan.

And if Cal was at Louisville, you would be saying the same thing. LOL And, you're right, if we weren't going for the same player, I wouldn't have said it. That's what makes sport fun! I'm really rooting for you guys to get Wiggins/Rathom/Randle/ and james young or jabari parker.
Good talking with ya. I don't even want to think about Cal at Louisville. They've already converted one of our great coaches. Makes me sick when I think about it sometimes. Pitino is a Card now though.
Cal turned Darius Miller, Deandre Liggins, & Josh Harrellson - Josh FREAKIN' Harrellson! - into NBA players. He turned Eric Bledsoe into a 1 & done which no one saw coming. He got Lamb into the league after just two years, and frankly, Lamb is a 4 year player at a lot of schools. He also took a raw Demarcus Cousins & turned him into a top 5 pick in one year. Guys like Wall, MKG, Jones, Davis, & Knight maintained if not improved their draft status under Cal. To have a 100% track record...that's really hard to argue against. It's just not as simple as "any coach could do it with those players". Miller & Selby have already been mentioned, but what about Xavier Henry, Austin Rivers, Avery Bradley, James McAdoo, Jaded Sullinger, Harrison Barnes, Will Barton, John Henson, or Lance Stephenson. All of those guys were ranked alongside UK recruits who ultimately out performed in college & the draft.
Daniel Orton- 1 and done under Cal
Any more questions?
