Many Louisville fans claim a 60-40 to 70-30 majority for fans within the city of Louisville. One Louisville grad doesn't quite see it that way.
CARSON -- Only one alum of an NCAA Final Four school on the Galaxy roster, and he hasn't been talking any smack in the locker room. We asked midfielde

I don't have any data to back it up, but in my experience 60-40 in favor of UL is probably close. Sounds like that guy is just talking smack. Which is fine. hah.
I can't imagine what living in Louisville would be like this week. Not sure I want to.

This isn't accurate. I know folks involved with Louisville media an advertising who have broken this down from a marketing standpoint. Kyla about 60/40 uk.
I think I'd rather move for a week. EFF that.
Keep Calm & Stoops On..
Media guy the other day was talking about fans in the metro area and broke it down 40-40-20. 40% uk, 40%ul, and 20% other. This included southern Indiana 12 counties.
I'd be willing to bet that 40/40/20 is very accurate. Or at least 45/45/10. 20 seems a bit high for "other" in a town of Louisville's size.
I can't recall who it was but it was for media marketing/neilson ratings or something like that. I think the 20 is cause it included southern Indiana.
Thus, that UK managed an equal 40 with UL is even more impressive.
That was Fred cowgill from wlky. As far as living in Louisville this week as a uk alum, it's the the craziest thing I've ever experienced in sports fandom. The venom is literally at a level of concern. I expect to see people with Ul bumprrstickers attempting to run uk cars off of the waterson expressway at 90mph.
That seems plausible if you include the surrounding twelve counties. I just can't believe that UK and UL fans number the same in Jefferson County. I've lived here almost all of my life and that just does not jive with my experiences.
My hope is that 100% of all Card fans stay in the city of Louisville for life. I can't stand it when they get out in other parts of the state.
You can take the man out of Kentucky, but can't take Kentucky out of the man. GO BIG BLUE!!!
