This could work to our advantage if a) we get them 3 and out on some early drives b) have extended offensive drives.
I remember when we won at Auburn, they tried to play at break-neck speed and at times their defense seemed to never get a rest.
I like this. Especially if our D comes out stouter than they're expecting. It could be turnover day for UL.

I think this is in UK's favor.
I agree. Thanks for posting and feel free to post more often
That Auburn game was a gem wasn't it?
A gem because there were ZERO penalties ha
I think it can be in our favor as long as our offense can stay on the field itself and doesn't get forced into several 3 and outs as well.
Completely what I expect to see, it is clear we will try to replicate the UT game, obviously not to the extent of 7 pass attempts, but you know what I mean... UL will want to try to get out quick and force UK into a shootout, or at least keep the game from getting bogged down into a grinder. Ball control and time of possession will be big in this game.

I know this isn't really contributing much to the thread, but 'F' Louisville.
Keep Calm & Stoops On..
You read my mind.
I doubt they are uptempo so much as doing the no huddle and look at me for the play call.
I guess the no-huddle or up-tempo would be to put stress on our strength which is the d-line. Anyhow, anything and everything about UL can suck my @. Sorry for that but I hate anything and everything about those delusional f's.

Sure it does sir. That's the best post in this thread.
Not sure why you guys think we're going smash mouth. Did you watch the spring game? I fully expect an offense that resembles our team from two years ago and when we had woodsonzz
I don't see it being a smash mouth game but rather one with a lot of extra activities. UL is going to be dirty and trying to intimidate our guys hoping the refs pander to the home crowd. I hope we use a lot of play action and counter runs with a solid passing attack.
They might be up tempo and no huddle, but fully expect them to be predominantly running the football most of the time, probably over 60% of the snaps next week. Don't think they are going to roll out there 5 wide and let Bridgewater throw 50 passes, that ain't Cholly's philosophy. He is a defensive coach who has shown in his first 2 years that he wants his offense to run the ball and run the clock to rest his D and pound the opponents D.
How do you know this to be true? UofL doesn't even begin game practice for UK until maybe today.
Typically, yes what you described is Charlies philosophy however, Watson loves the west coast style and supposedly is extending the field for this season. That along with the respect of uk's d-line and your secondary being suspect, I expect to see your secondary to be tested and tested frequently.
