Opens at UK+13. Thoughts?
This may sound a little weird, but this makes me feel a lot better about this being a close game. The public will be on Louisville, and Vegas don't put out lines to lose.
I just don't see it.
It opened at 12 and has since grown to 13.
tards will not score 13.......bet the house on the cats
No, opened at 13 and hasn't budged.
I'm betting that line fa sho.
Bet the 'Cats. No way the Cards beat UK by 2 TDs. No ... way.

Thoughts? Hell yeah, where can I get a bet in? I can't make it to Vegas before Sept. and Alex, I'll take 13 and the Cats for $1,000.
Sagarin's computer ratings are more accurate than Vegas lines early in the year.
I am who I am, said he who is. 15,235
Phil Steele has projected the Sagarin Ratings. He has UK at 66 and UofL at 69. Looks like a pick 'em.
Unless you return most of the starters I have no idea how they pick favorites for the first couple of games.
The towns of America are full of broke bastards who "bet the house" on sure things and tried to beat the Vegas oddsmakers.
Remember, that is not a line based on the score. Its a line trying to get people to just "bet the game". Vegas wants both sides bet, action on and against both teams. They make their money from the bet period. If the line was Louisville -3 many betters would just stay away because it is to close to call but put the line -13 and they will get the action on both sides. What they really are saying is we want UK fans to think this is a good bet and if the line drops then it catches the Louisville fans.
In all probability the real money from the so called wise guys has already been played and if the line has not changed then Vegas oddsmakers and the big betters are on board with that number. Its just a number, not the score.
The meanest dog in Taiwan.
Hopefully shades of a repeat of 2002. Werent we like a 17 point dog for that one? Just like 10 years ago, we must Must MUST punch 'em in the mouth right away. Get that young team of theirs sweating by falling behind as heavy favorites, the weight of expectations then start dragging them down.
Agreed. Minter will need to put together a plan that constantly gets pressure on Bridgwater and keeps DeVonte Parker at bay. Would love to see Rumph and Cobble repeat the performance of Dewayne Robinson and Jeremy Caudil that glorious Labor Day weekend in 2002.
