WILL THE SEC LOOK AT THE PUNCH THROWN TO TEAGUE IN THE SECOND HALF.
IT JUST ABOUT TOOK HIS HEAD OFF??????.
I don't know. Can you please look at your keyboard though and locate the caps lock button? Hit that thing one time and then rip that key right off of the keyboard for me, thanks.
Just saw the video of it. I'd be willing to bet UK sends it to the league office. I must admit i never caught it during the game. I saw Cal going nuts and wondered why? Now I know.
At what point in 2nd half? I'd like to check it out on the dvr.
It was actually late in the first. We were up 34-20 and a Vandy player popped wide open for a layup and blew it.
The reason he was wide open is because he popped Teague in the back of the head and nearly knocked him to the ground.
We got mugged repeatedly in that game. The officials affected the final score without a doubt.
It was a rough game but they called it much tighter when we were on defense than when they were on defense.
anyone got a link to view this somewhere?
Vanderbilt University's thug, #33 Steve Tchiengag, punches University of Kentucky's #25 Marquis Teague in the back of the head, which clearly should have resulted in a foul. How was this missed by the refs? For cryin' out loud!
"Kentucky Football needs to be and will be a championship contender in the SEC."~Mitch Barnhart 11/4/12
Thanks gunslinger. I completely missed that watching it live. That should certainly be reviewed and some form of action taken, that's the definition of a cheap shot. What a punk.
Thanks for the link slinger. How in the heck does an official not see this crap. I have all year long watched alot of teams try to beat up on us and 90% of the time they succeed with only to find the officials turn a blind eye to all of it. Vandy is just a jeoulos bunch of choir boys that think they deserve respect because they are all upperclassmen that was ranked in the preseason top ten and they believe they should still be there but not have to even play for it.. Coach Cal is a better man than I am cause if I had seen that take place then Stallings would be sewing his ear back on last night cause I would have torn it off his devilish little head. NCAA you S_C# for letting this ish happen by playing favorites for your homeboys, well, keep it up till someone really gets hurt bad and then try to say your sorry and had no idea this stuff was even goin on. You Ncaa can kisss it!!

Go back and watch the Taylor-Jones incident. Pretty sure Taylor threw a punch there too.
Thanks for the link. I completely missed it live. I'm sure UK will let the league office know about it.
Yes, I thought so too when I saw it live. After the game, Matt Jones was adamant that Jones was the guilty party, but I did not see it that way.
Neither taylor or jones threw a punch but both were shoving and that's fine just being firery and competitive
Did not see that but it's not all that surprising. Tchiengang was buck wild last night.
I did notice it during the game, but I'm not sure it's enough of a"punch" to get a game suspension cause it's kind of bang bang. Still, it was certainly enough for a Flagrant foul during the game, and we should have gotten the ball and shots.
That was with a closed fist, unreal. No excuse for that, none.
That wasn't a punch. It was rough play, but not a punch like what Davis got at LSU. That game had some legitimate over the top plays that should have led to some suspensions. I don't rate the Tcheingang incident as anything.
Look closer at it. Closed fist grazes the side of Teague's head. If that isn't a punch, what the hell is?
Keep Calm & Stoops On..
Edit- went back and watched it again a few times. It's tough to see what is happening, IMO, but I still don't think it's anywhere near as nasty as what went on with Davis. Nothing's going to happen from that, and this is just one to let go.

Teague was facing away from him, he punched him in the back of the head to gain position. you're right. Non issue.
I think that you can agree that it WILL BE a non issue, no matter how much people around here want to gripe about it. The league won't do anything, and Marquis wasn't hurt at all.
My personal feeling is that it should have been an offensive foul, but it didn't get called. You won't get any satisfaction on this one.
I was agreeing with you!
I don't think it was a punch, in fact I don't think his hand even hit Teague. Imo, it was a hard shove and the contact was made with his forearm. Should have been a foul and that's what I was screaming when it happened. Taylor should have been called for a flagrant too.
