During the Duke-UNC game the guy said that the crowd was chanting something and Coach K went on the court and told them to stop. Does anyone know what they were chanting?
I believe they were chanting, "Tyler Zeller, MVP", in reference to him missing two free throws at Chapel Hill and accidentlly tipping in a basket for UNC near the end of the game. He was also the man guarding Austin Rivers when he hit the game winner at N.C.
lol That's funny. How sure are you that's what it was?
I just saw it online in a couple of places. Pretty funny tho..
I don't think it was the Zeller chant that got K up. That's a typical thing. Fans chant that stuff all the time. No way in my mind does he go out there and ask them to stop that. But I suppose it's possible.
I have a friend who is, unfortunately, a Duke fan. He told me they were chanting something to the effect of "Where's our team at" *clap clap clap clap clap* I know the crazies chanted that near the end of the game, and it ticked off some people. I could see K getting mad about that at home lol
Welcome the new generation of domination.
No wonder he was upset. Dukies are supposed to be smart enough to end a chant in a preposition!
Hah. Too true. But I guess "Where is our team?" is a lot harder to chant lol
haha! I bet that looked great to Shabazz.
