People are saying Whitlow hurt his ankle as well on the last play of the game? Anyword how bad it is?
Looked like he turned it a little bit. Limped off on his own power. Nothing official yet but it didn't look that bad.
Given they tried to tape Smith up & get him back in & the way he was moving on the sidelines with a boot in the 2H, I'd judge he's out 2-3 games. Was it the high ankle sprain variety, I doubt he'd have been upright at all.
No, high ankle sprains are when the ankle is rolled to the outside. Smith's was to the inside. Usually heals much quicker.
Whitlow didn't even seek the trainer out after the game. Phillips said there is nothing to worry about.
What about the saftey..#37?...his name eludes me at the moment. He had a knee injury and I have not seen anything today on his status.

Thanks. That's good news.
Dakotah Tyler. UK no longer does Sunday teleconference so won't know his status until tomorrow's weekly press luncheon.
Eversion or medial ankle sprains (inside) like the one Max Smith suffered last night, usually take much longer to heal.

Watching Whitlow hobble around for the last few seconds in the game and afterward he walked to me like he was in some pain, how.much? I have no idea. Im sayin that to say this, dont be suprised if its worse than coaches say bc until openin drive of UF game no one had any idea Smith was hurt and wasnt goin to play or at least I didnt read anythin like that leadin up to the game. Wouldnt b a total shock if its worse than anyone inside nutter is telling.
