Good luck to UofL tomorrow. I'm actually wanting UofL to win the NCAA championship this year. I would like to be the first to congratulate them for doing what UK accomplished 62 years ago. (3rd National Championship) ;)

not a chance.. being from louisville and dealing with them... i will never be for UL.. Lets go dUKe
btw we are UK not UofK.. just saying
Prefer UL winning.
Satan if I had to guess.
wow this went south kinda fast.. It started out as a joke (what UofK accomplished 62 years ago) towards UofL. Bad joke I guess..lol
I will be hoping the Cards take Duke apart on Sunday.
How any UK fan could want Duke to win anything is beyond me.
Keep it in state for at least three straight years and maybe longer.

One game made duke our rival. Outside of that, their coach and fans have been respectful to us.
Louisville is our arch rival, they live around us, their coach makes snide remarks about us and their fans are them most obnoxious in the country.
It's easy for me. I hope Louisville loses every game they play.
No way I can root for Duke. Just can't physically do it. Don't want them to win another championship and the winner of that game has a great chance. Of course, I would love for Duke to lose tomorrow and then UL lose in the final four. Can't see that happening though.
Would be ironic if Florida won it after all of the talk about the SEC this year (btw, they were right about the SEC).
I don't think it really matters who went want to win. But I would love for history to repeat itself. Louisville be known as the program that can't get over the hump when it has its best teams. I'm hoping for a repeat of the T-Will/E5 Mich. St. loss.
I am for the roof caving in or the floor buckling.
I'm cheering for Al Quads to destroy the building. J/k.
I just don't undstsnd how this can be a question. Maybe the rivalry is not as heated for people that don't live in Louisville or something. If you live in Louisville the UK-UL rivalry is nasty, bitter beyond belief, and not fun in any way. Our so perceived rivalry with Duke (which is embarassing because they don't give a crap about us) doesn't even compare. I'm rooting for Duke as if they were Kentucky on the court tomorrow.
Well for me its kinda that ole feeling of telling everyone yeah I hope the title stays in the Bluegrass but deep down the ole heart skips a beat at the very thought of hearing UL fans. Good things is we'll be taking the title back to Lexington next year.
I'm on board with this answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BINGO!!!! Duke could care less about UK. I will be cheering for Duke today like I cheered for Syracuse against IU. I wouldn't want Louisville or Pitino to win a pie eating contest.
I don't know if North Korea has a team but would root for them first.
They do. They're the Dennis Rodman All Stars.
That makes it a closer call
Lol, louisville is your arch-rival. BUWAHAHAHA.
that's hilarious. Louisville is our in-state competition. Not much of a RIVAL. People tend to water down the meaning of rivalry.
Just because they are in-state does not make it a rivalry.
Just because we play them regularly does not make it a rivalry.
Just because the fans are annoying does not make it a rivalry.
What makes it a rivalry is that they are similar and we are fighting for the same thing. Louisville?
1. All-time NT? Nope
2. All-time Wins? Nope
3. All-time Winning Percentage? Nope
4. NCAA Championship Game Appearances? Nope
5. FF Appearances? Nope

All the things you mentioned make those programs our "pier" not our rival.
Duke, Unc, Ucla, iu and Kansas are our "piers" not our rivals. The things I mentioned are what make time our rivals.

Indiana was at the top of my personal hit list. Now that they're gone, Louisville is next. If they lose to Duke, I could care less who wins after that.
Let's go Wichita State!!!
Louisville is a rival and they have been ever since the series started in 83 or 84. We don't like them and they don't like us. If that isn't a rival I don't know what is.
