On UK ...
"They're more confident than ever. Watching the Iowa State game they're playing with tremendous confidence. Where they're better, Anthony [Davis] is shooting the ball further away form the rim, [Terrence] Jones is being more consistent, [Darius] Miller is playing more consistent. They don't put anyone on the court that doesn't impact winning on the offensive and defensive end. It's going to take a major, major effort."
On the win in December and how that factors into Friday's game ...
We're not giving that win back. Every time they run that [commercial], [Christian Watford's shot] keeps going in.

I hope when UK beats the pants off IU this weekend, they play the game on a loop for 24-72 hours after the fact. Every dunk, 3 point shot, etc.

Not only do I want UK to destroy the Hoosiers, after the final horn I want Polson to sprint over to Crean and muss his hair to the point there is no fixing it.

I have an inkling that UK's guys are going to want this one pretty, prettty ... pretttty (Larry David voice) bad also.

One concern is will they want it "too bad?" You don't want to go in so emotional and jacked up that you blow it in the first 5 or 6 minutes of play. UK is better than this team in every regard. They just have to go play hard, stay focused and execute for 40 minutes. No rah-rah speeches, no revenge talk. Just go ball.

Crean seems to do some of his best work against UK. I think he's a okay coach myself. But I cringed everytime I heard his name come up during the UK coaching searches.
He just seems to have our number. Even the last two seasons when we smoked them they were in those games WAY longer than they should have been.
That's really my only concern. On a neutral court we should smoke them but Crean will somehow keep them close.

believe me i want this game as well but my only fear is that they pour so much into this game emotionally that if they win they will come out flatter than a pancake in the regional final.
i do not want our guys to pull a 'Vandy'

Crean beat a banged up Bogans UK squad with Dwyane Wade's triple double in the Elite 8 and beat a Patrick Patterson-less inferior UK team in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Not sure I'd exactly say he's had UK's number.

I'd worry that if they focus on destroying IU to pulp that they'll have too little left in the tank for Baylor.

Xavier has the guards to do it and I usually don't trust teams like Baylor that don't defend but I just think the Bears are going to be too athletic, especially inside, for the Muskies.
