Second year WCS would be just amazing. He will be around 250-260, agile big man. That's going to cause major havoc for pretty much every team out there.

Only Cody Zeller will be able to match it, and that's if he stays.

Think he means all this reclassifying is going to take it's toll on the "14" class. When UK loses probably there whole team after next season, it's going to be difficult to replace.

I read that story about 15 minutes ago and put up a new thread also but with a little twist about if there are any options to reclassification. I dont think we have a chance to get him although we were recruiting him while he was in the class of 2014 but I wouldnt count Cal out if he is still interested in Johnson since the reclassification.

I really like Dakari but this feels like UNC as they're the school on his list that could benefit the most from him reclassifying.

We will end up losing some players if this reclassification continues because there are just so many top players Cal can get and it has nothing to do with his recruiting ability which we all know he is the best. Just say we get Wiggins or Randle how many other top players that reclassify to the class of 2013 do you think we can get. On the other hand if they had stayed in their original class Cal could have chosen the ones he wanted and still will but the talent pool will be smaller.

LHL is reporting he is coming to UK

Johnson, Selden and Vonleh were all going to be heavily recruited by UK in 2014. Now, UK is likely to cease recruitment of all three.

Don't think that's necessarily right on Johnson. Johnson is a guy that's likely a 2-3 year player because he's still got a lot of work to do on his body, UK could conceivably still take him and after reading up on him his list as of 2 weeks ago was UK, UF, Cuse, and GTown. 3 of the 4 major players for him are going to be in the same situation where they are loaded up front only G Town really isn't.

Also have to point out there's probably 2 or 3 kids that we don't have a clue about yet that will end up at UK. Until the summer and spring before their Senior years UK wasn't invovled with Cauley-Stein, Wiltjer, Davis, Poythress, James Young or Marcus Lee and all ended up as UK commits so there's probably people that we have no idea at all about that will explode and end up at UK.

Thats a good point about Johnson+Lee practicing against one another but the only problem is will DJ still want to come to KY considering the talent thats already here. DJ is a pretty highly ranked player and you know that these kids want to play significant minutes. I would love to see DJ come to UK because he has a good upside but the big ? is will Cal continue to recruit him since he has reclassified, we will just have to wait and see. Dont forget also we still are after Randle and although he is a PF he is still a big guy which equals less minutes to go around.

About Mays I agree I pratically held my breath when he went down and was greatly relieved to learn he is going to be fine. About DJ KY was/is the percieved leader but I wonder if the interest from the UK side might change due to the reclassification. I would like to see the big guy come to UK and the depth that you mentioned would be very valuable. I would watch G-Town on this kid.
