Some people are suggesting that he will not get drafted. Are you kidding me?
Keepin in fresh since 1986.
IMO he might go to Denver. They seem to like small quick LBs. We now know for sure he isnt going in the first round.
I guess teams don't learn from their mistakes. Same thing happed to Woodyard, and now he is afive year veteren with the Broncos.

I think he will go in the 5-7 range, look for Seattle as a good possibility for Danny!
Ultimately, Trevathan was a GREAT college football player. First and foremost, he is a football player. I think teams worry about his ability to play LB in the NFL at his size. I think someone needs to take flyer on him, let him play ST and see if he could transition to SS.

I agree about the Denver post. Also look for Philly to make a move if he is around mid 3rd or 4th. They still need a LB and they have had some very good ones that were slightly smaller but tackling machines.
It smells like microwaved homeless people in here.
I'm hoping that Tomlin/Joker connection comes into play, and the Steelers pick him upo if he doesn't get drafted! Being undersized may not matter as much on a suffocating defense like Pitt or Baltimore as long as he can get to the ball quickly.
He was a great player for us. But, he is not the typical pro LB. He is small, and that's why I think a lot of teams are passing on him. But, I think he would be a great Special Teams player for a long time.
It boggles my mind to see guys from Montana, Regina, and a freaking punter drafted over Trevethan.
Trevathan has put on some more pounds. He's closer to an NFL LB that he once was. I think people are misled by his size. He should get drafted. it would be foolish of teams for him not to.
Exactly. Danny is around 230. That is more than sufficient to be a WLB in the NFL.
Good call C1180.
