Deja Vu

  • I don't understand why everyone is so mad. What in the world did people expect? The same thing happens every year. Kentucky opens up with three terrible non conference teams and starts the season 2-1 or 3 and 0 and then conference play starts and they win 2 to 4 games in the conference. They never finish any better than 4th in the East. Every football season is Groundhog Day.

  • I agree. I just was hoping the kids would have fire...

It is rather obvious these kids have quit on the coaching staff, period.

  • Don't agree ca. Everyone knew this was a tough game for UK and everyone picked scores close to the final result. The kids competed tonight, but the 'Cats didn't have the horses to keep pace. We saw that on the Demps TD run.

I'm not at all saying the TOs cost us the game but they did take away from the effort our guys showed on D. Demps and Rainey will do their thing against much better defenses than what they saw tonight. Maybe not to the tune of 403 yards rushing, but they were spent.

Defense played hard. If we can just right this ship on offense, we STILL win 6 games!

But for the love of GOD...CATCH THE DANG MUTHERLOVING FRIGGIN (for you Drum lol) BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The WR corps is driving me crazy. Newton is making some nice throws and the WR are dropping easy catches. Maddening!!

I left the game really early. 1.) because I was frustrated 2.) I've had the flu all week and wasn't going to stay and watch being sick.

Anyway, I listened on the radio. It sounded like Max looked alright spinning the pill. (when they let throw lol) How did he look?

He looked good throwing the ball when he had time. Had a couple of drops, but had good zip on his throws and was composed.

  • And, now that they've burned his RS, we should see more of him.

That's fair, alpha. I've just resorted to watching body language a lot and it seemed that the guys quit. I expected this score, this outcome, but for some reason I am hoping for more. More leadership maybe? I dunno...

But, I do disagree that this team has any remote chance of winning 6. I believe 4 tops, if that.

As long as they come out of Columbia mentally intact, there are 6 wins on the schedule. The run of Jax St., Ole Miss, and MSU is 3 wins. UK would be 5-4 with Vandy, UGa, and UT left. I think they can beat one of them after three straight Ws.

Based on how we have played so far, I don't know how you can count any game as a victory yet. . . Jax St, maybe. . . and Ole' Miss is pretty bad also, so it should be a tight game along with Vandy. . . Other than that we are gonna have to get A LOT better if we plan on winning. . .

  • For anyone to count on or hope for 6 wins with this team is REALLY reaching. This is not a bowl team....simply is not.

I'm not sure anyone is "counting" any games as wins at this point, however, Ole Miss, Jax St., and Vandy are all more than winnable games. Thats 5 wins there. Find a way to steal a game we shouldn't win, which we always do and that's 6. I'm still saying we win 6 games. I have absolutely no problem eating crow, but I do hope those that are justifiably frustrated are willing to do the same.

I don't see how in the world in what the Cats have done so far that you can say that they will beat Miss. State. At this point there are not any guaranteed wins left on the schedule.
