proud of our boys for the comeback effort they made. however, they are still way off on their team offense it seems ( and I understand its only game #2) but they don't seem to look for each other as much as last years team on the offensive end. Blocking out on rebounds is still a huge issue as well. What scares me the most is the lack of consistent guard play so far. Hopefully time will fix these issues. Oh yeah... FREETHROWS! C'MON GUYS!!

There were good things and bad things that took place in tonights game. I think ill concentrate on the positive things such as the Manchild Alex Poythress finally emerged. He was a beast for the most part and had the energy that I have been waiting to see that has been lacking since the exh. games. He dunked and shot from 3 and rebounded with power and this I hope brought out the inner beast we have been yearning for. The hustle from Noel had me excited also. He was all over the place going after the ball and with the exception of being taken on every ball fake Noel looked pretty good. Boy do we need a PG, although Goodwin did the best he could at this point in the season. Tonight we lost because Duke had a couple of very good experienced players that KY simply couldnt stop but that too will be a thing of the past later in the learning process.
