  • Unfortunately that's why the Clippers are going home. Great job on Eric's part but Paul had to play well for the Clippers to win it.

  • the Clippers ability to win this series went up in smoke when Billups went down with his injury earlier in the year.

the Clippers could have hung with anybody in the Western Conference with a healthy Billups.

  • They are going to have to accomodate Eric somehow on their roster and rotation. He had a Tayshaun type coming out party during the playoffs and their fans are gonna have to find away to get him on the floor for 30 minutes a game. He was way to productive not to.

  • Paul has a bad hamstring and lacks the speed currently to do anything with Parker. I like the Spurs to win it all this year.

I'd love to see Eric traded to the Lakers to get more PT.

  • Bledsoe is going to absolutely blow up next year IMO. The Clippers won't re-sign Foye and Bledsoe will see a lot more playing time and will then sign a big contract somewhere.

He's made himself a lot of money in this postseason.

  • I would trade Paul.

:-P I would do something. That combination of Paul and Blake, i don't think will get farther than 2nd round. (They need a lot more...)

I think Paul is excellent talent, but haven't really seen him healthy past few years. Blake is the icon of that city, so i don't think he would be traded.

They have 0 offensive skill sets in the front court (exception of Blake) with Jordan, Evans, and Martin.

They also have too many PG with Paul, Bledsoe, Billups, and Williams.

Trade some and get quality center. Have rotation of Paul/Bledsoe/SG at 1/2. Either way, with current team, this team has no hope past in 2nd round. I don't really know players in NBA or how trade system work, but they need to move a lot of pieces around.

They probably need to get rid of some guys but Chris Paul isn't one of them.

I do agree that their frontcourt is not skilled at all. At this point, Griffin and Jordan are just dunkers.

Are you kidding? Chris Paul is still easily one of the premier guards in the world. He's been hurt and he's still trying to get healthy but he most likely will get healthy. This wasn't the best year in terms of staying healthy due to the lockout. They get to the playoffs for the first time in a while and actually win a series and your talking about trading one of their two superstars. Thats hilarious.

Griffin is still a young player Chris. He's got plenty of time to work on his post game. Jordan is a really big body. Bottom line they need Paul healthy but what they accomplished this year was big for that franchise.

haha. I THINK I started to say something about their fans liking him, and I KNOW I meant to say something about the staff having to find minutes. There's probably a name for that, but I probably wouldn't want to know!!!

    Crap, way too long.

EDIT: Summary of what i wrote..lol
    1. I agree Paul is the top PG

    2. Do you think he will be injury prone or not? For example, chances of Heat having 3peat is slim to none. Wade can't stay healthy consistently enough for that to happen. Chances of them even winning one is a lot lower than people expect, because Wade is very injury prone now.

    3. When was the last time top 3 PG won it all (or even top 5 pg)? Tony Parker last time spurs won it all, and Billups when detroit won it all. However, i wouldn't say for sure that those 2 were top 3 PGs.

    4. This year top 3 point guard winning it all.
IF top 3 is Rose, Paul, Williams, then 0.
IF top 3 is Rose, Paul, Rondo / Westbrook, then pretty good chance.

  • Talking about trading Chris Paul at all is just plain stupid.

  • Bledsoe is the one that will probably be dealt this off-season. His stock is sky high after his performance in the playoffs and he will probably bring back a significant piece for the Clippers. Quite a few teams looking for a PG will make a run at him.

  • The Clips will not let go a young talent like Bledsoe. They want to follow the Thunder example: keep a reasonable payroll (they can't compete with the Lakers on this), and develop a super team.

Ummmm, you are familiar with the history of the Clippers from offices right? Not necessarily known for making sound decisions.

The Lakers and Clippers play under the same salary cap rules so yeah they can compete against he Lakers on that. They have arguably the best PG in the league, if they can move Bledsoe for a 2 guard or another big they probably will.

    Ioannis

  • Lakers are about 30 million over the cap.

They wouldn't give up Bledsoe in the original Chris Paul/New Orleans deal they had going. Says a lot about what the team thinks of him.

The Clippers don't need help at the 2. Mo Williams, Nick Young and even Billups and Bledsoe have proven they can play along side Paul. They need a 3 and true 5. They have nothing but trash, castoffs and underpeformers at those position.

  • Can you imagine Bledsoe on this Thunder team?? Some people may have forgotten he was originally drafted by OKC.

Not sure how much run he would get but sure would be fun to watch.

Exactly my thoughts. Bledsoe has gotten a huge rep for his nearly unique athleticism (blocked shots, rebounds, and dunks) at 6'1".
