One thing to watch now is the path of tropical storm Isaac. It could very well cause the whole weather pattern in this area to be disrupted about next weekend.

Speaking of pizza, if any of you will be in Louisville for the game get a pie from Papilinos. There is one on U of L's campus and on Baxter Ave. Excellent pizza.

Per the NOAA model they're showing, we'll start getting the residual stuff from Isaac on Sunday morning. Going to be real interesting if that continues to shift.

I'd also like to think rain benefits us because we may be better suited to control the ground game with our backs. If they're going to run no huddle as rumoured it could make things difficult for them.

Rick Minter's dry sense of humor always makes me laugh, which is why I got a kick out of his answer about the possibility of heavy rain changing their plan:

"Nah, I've got to be there either way," Minter said. "I don't think it matters. We wear helmets. If it rains, it rains. As long as there is no electricity in the air we'll play it rain or shine."

More and more it looks like bulk of the rain will be throughout the day Sunday. Going to make for an interesting game, and maybe more interesting parking situations. If you're going I'd be careful where you park because that area suffers from flash flooding.
