These picks were made a couple weeks in advance and prior to the start of fall camp.

If I had to go back and do it over again, based on what we know now, it'd be hard not to go with Dyshawn Mobley, especially with Josh Clemons lingering knee issues.

Have to agree with Matt May, Landon Foster is likely to have the biggest impact if he is able to perform up to his potential. But many others named by others in the article/thread should also make very significant impacts.

I gotta go with Sweat. He can impact the recieving game and the return game. Both of which were woeful last yr.

if zach west is good r line will be good. From summers comments he is the farthest behind on the line. Summers has even call mitchell a good lineman that makes me feel a ton better

Having a really good infusion of young talent that didn't play last yr doesn't hurt either....

Totally agree... Coach Washington may have the biggest impact, w/o even touching the playing surface! & Foster seems like a kid that can carry the flag for Punter U. (Which, is a crapper of an honor for the U !)

Another couple kids I think may stand out, among those not already listed, are OL Jordan Watson & DB Fred Tiller...Both scream SEC athlete. Watson is physically ready to play in the SEC already...Tiller is a head-hunter w/ the size/speed combo to cover SEC WR's at CB.

People can be upset w/ the results so far during Joker's 1st 2 seasons as UK's HFBC...But the athletes he's bringing in, are SEC quality...Even if they do not have the stars next to their names at so&so service. The future is brighter than most seem to think, IMO.

UK practices are generally closed to the public and the media. But they're actually opening up 20 minutes of practice this afternoon for photo and video.

So look for that on the site this evening.

Sweat seems like he could really come in a contribute big time at much needed positions. I am also hopeful that Collins can come on as a solid receiver. I am hopeful that somebody at the CB position - I really like J.D. Harmon's size at that position - can surprise us and provide some quality minutes. One other I am keeping my eye on is Farrington Hugeunin as I feel like he has great potential.

I think I nailed it thus far. Look at how improved our WR unit is and the outstanding job of Mr. Foster. Aaron Boyd is a completely different player this year.
