Not sure I would call Kent a "cupcake" when we're only favored by 7. Let's face it, again this year we heard the positive vibes coming from fall camp, only to be sadly disappointed in the product that hit the field. Last year we got no big immediate turn-around after the first game. I don't much expect one this week either.

It is beneficial to Joker&Staff to suggest that our youth are more talented than the older guys (who were also said to represent improved recruiting in their classes 2 or 3 years ago) because it sounds like the staff only needs a couple more years of "aging" to have this team playing quite well. Not sure I want to buy that even though it would be nice if it were true.

It's an awful feeling when you want to hope but are afraid to.
