Yes, I believe it is. He transferred to ECU from UK after his freshman year.

Strange dude. Nobody seemed to have any idea he was like this when UK recruited him. I remember Brooks being really excited about him.

WOW!! How could he do something so STUPID as to drive through a cemetery? If he had knocked over headstones of ANY of my relatives, I would have a few choice words...... of the 4 letter variety

I remember being excited about him. He was a big time recruit for us but he was and obviously remains a major knucklehead.

Yes, he was. Jackson was an 11th hour signee and something of a surprise. He was originally a Cal commit and they cut ties with him when he got into some trouble, I believe, in HS. Brandon was one of the top backs in Oregon and many, me included, thought he could be a great back fro UK. Very versatile. But, seemingly, the kid did not have his head on straight at UK, or ECU, for that matter.

Did you'all catch the sick attempt at humor in the last line of the story? When the art of reporting become a practice in editorialism.

That is what I remember as well....so we knew he was troubled when we took him. And isnt it the case that because we took his commit there was another highly rated running back who wanted to come here but we didnt have room for another in the class?

Still remember when UK got this kid it being a huge coup and with him being from the west coast, I remember wondering how/why UK was able to land him.
Turns out he was damaged goods.
