No doubt there are other problems, but I promise you the general vibe and perception of UK's program right now would be better if we had won that bowl game to finish with a winning record Joker's first year instead of now sitting on 2 straight losing seasons and a young coach (who recruits like) sitting on the hot seat.

Nick Martin still would have dumped us for Notre Dame despite his alum father promising time & time again it wouldnt happen. Mossakowski likely still would have transferred, leaving many with the vibe that he didnt get a fair shot at QB over Newton. Lamar Dawson still would have stiffed us at the last minute of signing day, ditto Jon Davis. Still would have had many of the defections and transfers that occured Dec 2010 through all the offseason which left the impression that there were problems and conflicts and turmoil on the team. And winning that bowl game likely wouldnt have done anything to prevent what we witnessed play out on the field for the 2011 season.

Is there any chance you have a list of campers who attended? Did you have any thoughts on the quality of recruits attending the other camps?
JHB and I aside, I'm genuinely curious about that kind of stuff, and if it was posted in premium already, my apologies in advance.

tWhit, the status of this program is not due to simply the Pitt bowl loss. That is but one instance of a long Long LONG series of happenings around this program which began, oh lets say the Ole Miss game in 2010. I'm not gonna detail the list, every UK football fan knows most of the events I'm referring too, they have been rehashed many times.

Thanks for the welcome and insight. I like this board as it has more intelligent discussion than other boards. I am just scratching my head sometimes as it appears that they will hold off on offering some recruits with major BCS offers, but then accept commitments from players at position at offensive line that have no other BCS offers. I do however think that guys like Day will definitely get more offers as coaches see him play this season, and his stock should rise.
