Is he someone who could have been a difference maker on defense these last 3 games?
When would we get him back - or unlikely anytime soon?

I don't think any one player is going to make that big a difference on that side of the ball. He's got talent but he hadn't really grabbed a starting job or anything before he went down. As for how long he's out, Joker seemed to indicate it would be October at earliest and probably 6-8 weeks when regular season started. I'd say he's redshirt if it gets to that point.

JMO, but hopefully he can redshirt, get fully healthy, and have 3 seasons left to realize his potential.

Definitely hope to redshirt both guys and pretty much any fresman that hasn't played yet. I still think we've got some really young guys that can play.
