From a recruiting standpoint. Good stuff from 247Sports Barton Simmons.
Gives Kentucky and Mark Stoops a B-

Grading the SEC coaching hires from a recruiting perspective

The SEC head coaching jobs are all filled but the recruiting repercussions have yet to take shape. We grade each SEC hire from a recruiting perspective.

I disagree.
I got the impressions from a few pundits on TV right after Stoops was hired that it was an A for UK.

B- my ass! That's BS. No way Butch Jones should be ahead of Stoops. I can also see Malzahn receiving the same grade as Stoops, but not that much higher. In all honesty, I thought Bielema was the best hire. Sure he may be unproven in the south, but the man has been to 3 straight Rose Bowls. Nuff said.

Only concern there is whether he can handle the losing.....He's a saban type guy and if they lose, he's gonna be a mess.

Don't see that much in Malzahn, he was a great OC the year he had Cam Newton, but other than the one year I have not been impressed.
